In a world like ours now, your channel is a real comfort and a treat, however ordinary the subject matter may seem, that is its beauty. I struggle a lot with depression (especially lately) and have appetite issues that go along with it, but watching your videos makes me feel a little less alone in my loneliness and you get me hungry enough to make my bed and go eat something. I don't even have a friend in real life who keeps me company like that (sadly -- it did not always used to be that way). These small steps might not solve all the world's problems, but a lot of success depends on just building a simple and consistent foundation to help you stay grounded -- whatever that means to you -- each day. Watching you lately inspired me to clean and organize my entire apartment and do some meal planning. That is a step in the right direction, right? Thank you for sharing a little of your world with us and helping us to appreciate ours a little more. I was a teacher in Japan over ten years ago, and one thing I loved about Japanese culture -- whether people do things together or completely in private --- is that the sense of ceremony with ordinary, everyday things helps you enjoy the present moment, yield to it, and command it responsibly. Americans especially could benefit from this wisdom.
Curious One, you are a brave and intrepid person, who has the will and the courage to somehow, on your own, reach through the solidifying mass depression can be, to fight for your own peace. These are difficult days. The world seems so much darker. It's a struggle to remember the good people outweigh the bad. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you, and every other person battling misfortune, pain, and loneliness -- peace. In tiny amounts, snatched where it can be found. You are not alone.
I find sometimes that after reading a really really good lighthearted book I get a little more energy and pep. Also helps to get you out of your own head for a little while, much better than sleeping the day away. Also, when it gets warmer it's nice to just open the windows, have the curtains open all the way during the day, lay down in the sunniest, most comfortable spot you can find and just close your eyes. It's so nice to just listen to the birds and various other white noises in the background. Take things one day at a time, little baby steps. You can do it.
I find going out for walks everyday uplifting. Just breathing in fresh air and looking up at the sky, on a good day or even when the weather is not so good, makes me appreciate what I have and gives me a sense of purpose.
Im a mental patient and i struggle alot with my awful mental disorders. Whenever have an anxiety attack or feel depressed, i will look up to your videos. Your videos bring me relaxation, peace and happiness. Thank you.

Rhea, I must say I accidentally found your channel a few days ago. One of your videos simply popped up on my home screen. Funny enough, I was feeling extremely sick and had to go to the hospital to take many shots, so I was quite down and sad (I am fully recovered now, though). Your videos are not only soothing but also inspiring. As I started feeling better, I tried to change my routine a little and slow down the pace, and these last days have been much more vitalized. In the United States what you show is called mindfulness or the enjoyment of the simple things in ones life making each little thing matter no matter how small. I love your videos.
While that is true of those seeking material gain as a route to happiness many while being a minority practice either minimalism or mindfulness or both. It often shows up as well as a back to the land movement living off grid as well. I practice mindfulness. I have no desire to be broke but I only include things in my life that have meaning or joy. I am not alone in the practice and am an American but it is not common.

This is such a refreshing video that talks about creating happiness from within and being content and appreciative of the live we have. Many times we are obsessed with seeing travel adventures or material possessions (which can be nice ) but we thought that will automatically makes us happy which is not true all the time. Happiness is about how we choose our live and our mindset not what we have
