Thanks for the video. I use Ampro mono band whips and 10-20m I find a SINGLE mag mount is fine. When I get to 40m usage the swr creeps up during an over .. night try a triple mag to see if this cures the issue. 73
I also use the Ampro single band whips on a triple magmount and have had great success even on 80 mtrs.With a matching unit I do of course get extended bandwidth with excellent results too.☺73 G7HFS
Thank you. Do you have any suggestions for ways to mount a hf antenna on a small car such as a Subaru Outback that is very secure and can withstand highway driving.
@@watersstanton Hi Peter this Wouxon quadband, only has 1 antenna socket how can that work, have to keep changing antennas or put a quadband vertical antenna on it which I have never seen, think they need a bit of modification on that...Fred g4vvq.
@@fredshead7114 the only way would be to have a 6/2 and 70 antenna and a separate 4m antenna on two different mounts with an antenna switch inline, hope this helps from g7jdh
