If you do a tutorial. Make sure you state what button or link you are clicking on to get where you are going. It's hard to see where your mouse clicked. Where is that DPI panel?
While exploring that page one thing that would have been worth mentioning was the line interval in mm. I have a Longer Ray 5 10 watt and the diameter of the laser beam is .060 compared as to most being.080. This will result in a finer DPI. Hey there is a lot learn in Lightburn and you have to start somewhere and this a good video to do that with. 😁🛫
I’m getting my laser machine today so I get Lightburn so how do I choose what software I need to get? I have no idea they got one for controllers and fiber so which one do I need to purchase in the Lightburn?
What settings in lightburn will make me burn upside down and reverse? I am running a Xtool D1pro and if I have the letter B it will burn with the B reversed and upside down, almost like I'm stabding in front of the back of the laser. Hope I'm explaining it correctly. Thanks
hi bro. thanks for the video. do you have a tutorial how to set laser head position for the effective cutting. Because my laser head is quite high from the material. thanks again.
You asked if you missed anything and I laughed…naw, you covered it all. I gave a thumbs up because what you covered, you covered well. Your presentation style is also excellent.
I don't know if you got your answer as yet since you posted 2 months ago lol, but I saw it today and you have to go to your windows option and select the ones you wish to see. Happy engraving!
hey great channel, would you tell me whats the overscanner and if any benefit out of it. like mine laser do is go around all the lines in the end of engaraving once again and I dont know why
Overscanning means that it gives a bit of extra path on each side so the laser can slow down and speed back up and can reach the same power setting by the time it makes it back for clean marks instead of it starting the other way trying to power up immediately into the mark without full power at first. To better understand it, select it and preview your cut selecting Show traverse moves and it will show you on each side. Hope I helped!
