Released as the second single from New Gold Dream, Glittering Prize shifted enough units to secure the group a veritable hit (top twenty at home and top ten in Oz, Norway, and New Zealand). If you’re planning to see them live, chances are you’re going to hear Prize - it’s a live staple, along with Kaleidoscope and Twist/Run/Repulsion. Sadly, this reporter has never been to a Minds gig. Wanted to see them this tour, but Munich sold out pretty fast. Oh well.

OK, so we may have exaggerated the popularity of Twist/Run/Repulsion a bit. It has never been played live, but Kaleidoscope was performed at least once, namely at Fforde Grene, Leeds, on July 29th, 1979. According to the "dream giver redux" site, that concert was professionally recorded by “someone”. Fforde Grene is now a supermarket.
