I went step by step and still had a hell of a time getting this figured out. I don’t understand how you insane people even know how to create this stuff from scratch it blows my mind. I was learning from adobes training book (CIB) on how to create a simulation of a gust of wind, and it started out by using fractal noise. Fractal noise looks like snow and rocks How the hell is someone supposed to know you make wind gust from that 😩I’ll be using youtube for after effects the rest of my life 😅

Hoping that you don't mind answering a question. I'm at around 7:30 in the video, I'm making sense of most of what's going on, but I'm having trouble with the speed graph (I did make certain it was on it thankfully). It won't allow the opacity arks to have a negative value. They hit the 0 line and then flatten and won't go past it. I had a similar issue with the formation composition "amount" keyframe, but that did allow me to wrestle it into position as closely as possible. Any advice?

I would be really grateful for your help. At 2.57 when I add the cc ball action the logo in the composition window (top centre window) disappears, however is still highlighted but behind the background. This wasn't a problem on a older version of after effects i was using. This file got corrupted and i had to start again on a new 2019-20 version of AE (17.0.6). Do you have any suggestions as to why this is happening? is there a menu i may of clicked by mistake? Thanks

pretty solid, the only thing I noticed is that when I did the "easy ease" setting, where you're getting that U shape that you're adjusting, I kept getting an S shape.

Make sure you are editing the speed graph not the value graph.

i'm using this for a school project I can't exactly use the same files. the problem was that I can see the logo in the beginning before it scatters. I've tried hiding it but the whole logo including the scatter goes away.

In the first 40 seconds of your video you show three animated icons which have that whooshing sound as they assemble and disassemble. How can I add that sound and have it synced with the animation? Thanks.

first, import the audio file and add it to the timeline (for audio file position doesn't matter) if you want to see waveform go to dropdown of your audio file and view waveform and adjust your audio file according to animation. In Windows use 0 key/ insert key to preview Or go to Composition -> preview -> ram Preview.
