Bought the book at a quilting show in Lowell a couple of yrs ago. (I knit, crochet and sew clothes) This demonstration is excellent. I know I will use this for a table runner. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I''ve never made these before, but I think I'd cut a small "X" in the centre of the first "background' square *before* sewing it to the centre. It would just make it easier to cut to the edge after you sew a 1/4" around all four edges. Thanks for your tutorials!
I really like this technique....so simple...I know I can do this one! Table runners are lovely but I think the pot holder is a good starting point! Thank you!
Awesome block. I like the way you explained it and like the pot holders that you fussy cut as an example. I would like to see about ordering the book. Thanks again for another great tutorial!!! ☺☺☺

Very neat! when you do that is it going to make the bias stretch? after you sew the binding on will the block keep stretching out out shape? or will it stay I really like the videos form you thank you for taking your time to teach us I'm from Canada but with today's technology you get to teach all over the world! Cool thanks again
***** The light pressing before I press the block open helps stabilize the bias. When you sew it to the next block you also stabilize the bias again. It won't stretch after its bound.
+Nancy Kelley I do not know if it is the same. The one from the video is called the "Gypsy Gripper" and we have them available www.junctionfabric.com/shop/Notions/p/The-Original-Gypsy-Gripper-x10484406.htm Thank you for watching.
Hi! I just love watching your videos. I want to make a drawstring bag that has a firm round bottom & softer sizes. I have just recently picked up sewing again as am retired now & am getting back to my hobbies of sewing & machine knitting. Would you be interested in making a bag like that & videoing it?? Thx Sheryl
I like the hand-held cuter you use (along with the shower handle)-I have such trouble with the rotary cutters except the smallest sized. Can you tell me where to get such a fabric cutter?
+Nancy Kelley We created and sell the rotary cutter on our website or in our store. Here's the link: www.junctionfabric.com/shop/Notions/p/Rotary-Palm-Cutter-x9591429.htm Thanks for watching!
