I like this pattern; you spoke slowly enough , but you could have slowed down your crocheting as well. For first timers doing rounds , a tad slower would be nice. Crouching in the round can be perplexing to some.

Beautiful hat pattern! Have made a few of these to donate. Is there way to size this up to newborn? I would love to make the same pattern for my sisters baby when he arrives and we don't know how big he will be as he will have to have open heart surgery once he is born... so I figured i could makie both preemie and newborn sizes just in case x

I admit the only thing I struggle with as a beginner is that you do a stitch or stitches and THEN explain what to do. I would much prefer it was explained as you were doing it, (if that make sense). I have also adjusted the playback speed to be a little slower, but still get confused when you do something before explaining what you've done. I seem to follow others better when they explain something as they are doing it. I don't get lost thinking I'm behind sometimes then lol
