When you're on the water grouper fishing, you don't want to be wasting precious time tying up new rigs, especially if the bite is hot.
But grouper are some of the baddest and meanest fish down there, plus they live in areas of heavy structure, like rocks, so you're bound to break a few rigs.
Because of this, we came up with this simple time-saving tip that lets you create a ton of pre-tied grouper rigs and store them without getting them all tangled up.
That way, when you're on the water, you just pull off one of these pre-tied rigs (instead of tying a new one) and tie it onto your main line.
Check out this video to see this tip, as well as learn our favorite type of rigs we use for grouper fishing.
If you like grouper fishing and want to save more time doing it, you're going to love this video.

Like this idea. Keeps things nice and neat. Will need a few of these for different size circle hooks. Where can we get one of those?

I do something similar, but with pool noodles. Just secure the hook into the noodle.

Yup, Just like Walleye rigs prepared in advance on a foam pool noodle. Loose one... grab another. No wasted time screwing with tackle.

The rig is so simple that it takes longer the unwind this thing than it takes to tie the extra 2knots.
