Diane, your tutorials are the best of anything I’ve watched on RU-vid and I watch watercolor RU-vids all the time. You are uplifting and fun. You’re so comfy to watch and it feels like we could put the kettle on and have a cup of tea together. Your tutorials are easy to follow and allow me to be successful, which is such an encouragement. Thank you for all your hard work in preparation for your videos. I always enjoy them. You are appreciated.
My uncle who was a bit of a Del Boy in London used to have a lovely big Victorian house ,he was a loveable character and knew everyone , there was always a party going on weekends , we used to love going to visit my aunt and uncle ,one Saturday while we were there on holiday he said we are having a party tonight around 11ish pm? all these very tall woman turned up , it turned out they were the Tiller girls from the London palladium , they had just finished their dance for the evening and came straight over to my uncles , they were so nice ..and now I go to a wellbeing club and one of the ladies who help out was a Tiller girl .. You bought back lots of happy memories , thank you for these lovely painting , I shall have a good time painting some xx
Love your lesson. I am an old watercolor artist, been painting 40 years. Love your simplicity, and the watercolor brush. Watercolor is so beautiful, I have never tired of the medium. ❤️
Hey Diane ! These sheep 🐑 are so stinking cute 😊 yes these will be going into my junk journal 📓 I believe I could watch you all day, you inspire me and your voice alone is so calming and your kindness of teaching us not only watercoloring but drawing as well (not many do this). I’m so sorry to hear about the fires and I Pray all is out of harms way. Thank you again for the wonderful tutorial and I look forward to watching the next one. Love your sheeps names how cute ! I’d love to see your junk journal 📓 again to see what you’ve done with it 😊💜🎨
thank you so much for your videos I have been struggling and found you through a friend I am just a newbie but you have given me a reason to look forward to playing with this medium
You’re very welcome! I'm glad that my videos have been helpful and that I was able to provide you with some motivation and encouragement. It’s always great to hear from someone who is new to this medium and I’m confident that with dedication and hard work you’ll be creating amazing paintings in no time. Good luck!
Tuned in today & what a jolly cute group of sheep!! They’re my all time favorite ~ can’t quite get enough of them (and lighthouses!). Happy wishes from Southern Oregon, USA to all! Absolutely learning ewe~neek painting skills from you, Diane! I’ve only been painting & drawing for less than a year but you’ve inspired me to just simply have fun & enjoy the process! Thanks ever so much 😃
Thank you Diane. That was very relaxing and cute. I'll pass the video on to my Granddaughter who ( at 11) is doing well with her art. Think she'll love it.
So cute 😍 I love all the names of the sheep. I bet you must have a lot of wool from all the sheep that you keep. Thank you Diane for another video to inspire me 🐑
Oh I love painting with you! Thank you for telling brush size and paint colors and explaining so well! At 71 I can’t believe I can finally paint something that’s not embarrassing!
Diane…..it’s the heat! We lose brain matter as it gets hotter and hotter! At lase that’s my excuse! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Also, I’m jealous that we didn’t have the Tiller girls. I rather think I’d. like them.😁 Last year the Creek Fire, where I live burned 5o,ooo acres and over 900 homes. Holding my breath all summer for fear of fire has become the norm. I pray for you all there. Enough talk from me….love the fluffy sheep!❤️
I just had to go look up Art Spectrum paints after you mentioned them. There is a 12 tube set that is the landscape palette that has all those dreamy colors you mentioned. I am in the US, so no finding them local for me. I hope you find someone to send them to you from Australia. The sheep are lovely, I just made them into a postcard to send to my Mom. Stay safe from those fires! Thanks for yet another wonderful demonstration.
So adorable. You make this little painting look stress free as you paint. I would like to try and relax not worrying if everything’s just lovely and not perfect! I love this little painting so much!
Fun, adorable art! I haven't watched video yet, no time just now. But had to let you know I loved it on first sight. It does happen. Here is the proof. 💖
Firstly Thanks so much for coming over this evening Diane much appreciated was lovely to see you, I do hope it helped by sharing the colours. These sheep are stunning I've just brought a stamp like this but I would still like to give it ago and draw them , There lovely I love all the colours too xx ( formally the bored crafter)
Lovely to hear from you Tracy and it was fun to join in - I would’ve been more communicative but we happened to be eating dinner and watching better call Saul at the same time so I was a bit distracted! I just came upon your life by chance which was really fun. I am seriously interested in those paints, perhaps I’ll get myself a set of dots!
@@DianeAntoneStudio yes get the dot card I've just looked and Jackson's has reduced it slightly to £8.40 now. see if you like them , I will be buying one of the sets and maybe a few loose tubes some are fabulous colours. That's ok I understand about dinner etc 😘 xx
@@TraceySusanMixedMedia I will try to do that. Living in France is a pain in the butt because we have to pay so much customs for anything we buy from abroad. But I have a trip to England in September coming up so I will go on the rampage then! Have a great night xxx
Splendid! Love sheep! I painted with you on a replay, but had to pause. Ended up with 6 sheep with horns and no lovebirds so I’ll redo. I Need to pay better attention to detail🙂 Love birds are important❤️
I loved it when your daughter chimed in with 6 sheep’s names. Gives us all perspective to our own situations. Heat, lack of rain, but joy in painting with you.
Diane, You have blessed my life. Due to an accident I am an amputee and spend a lot of time in bed and I love to watch your tutorials they encourage me and make me feel good about myself. How do I order the paint sets and the free printouts I need help in this area.

Oh Sweet Diane! Do you have any idea just how lovable you are?? Your voice, the stories you share about your life, your imagination, your artistic nature are completely endearing! You make me want to create and I love you for it. xoxoxo. Wish I could give you a warm hug.
I have not painted in a very long time! Always thought my work was not good enough….however, I painted your whimsical birds and houses framed them and put on my bedroom wall. I love them! Thank you for your creativity! It’s so fun to paint again!
For years my Mother bundled off to bed when Sunday Night at The London Palladium had finished. One night she was in the kitchen when it ‘finished’ but to my surprise it came back on again! She’d be sending me to bed for ages when it was half way through !!!
What a nice remembrance for your little sheep! Hopefully you will be able to get them back someday...we are all praying for rain! I'm thinking of doing an Indian dance for rain! These tutorials of whimsey are so uplifting, and always teaching color or technique. Or something about supplies. Love the way you explain paper. You are simply the best!!!
I am fairly new to watercolours and I do use Art Spectrum..and I love your quirky sheep. I’m the daughter of a Merino sheep farmer so the sheep are fabulous. Aren’t I lucky I can buy those paints in rural Australia.
I love your colorful sheep. I've just recently purchased 3 Jacob ewe lambs and I love them! I can't wait for your videos to come up not only for the painting but also for your chit chat. You're someone I would definitely get on with. Take care, was lovely to hear from Tamsen as well.
Oh congratulations Maria on your lambs!!!! You'll love them to bits, they are such friendly and loving sheep! So glad you are enjoying the channel and thanks for your great support xxx
I have come across you and that was so fun. I have just bought some watercolours and paper and have no clue what I’m doing. My question is, what pencil did you use, HB or something else? And can you see it under the watercolour paint? Thank you, I’m gonna subscribe now for more fun pieces to try. 🎉
Diane I did email you a week or so ago letting you know that I’ve found those paints you’re enquiring about, in the colours you talked about. Let me know if you still want them.☺️
Hi Bev, I’m sorry I did reply but we’ve had a problem with our email system and messages haven’t been getting through. I will go and look for your email again soon! Thanks so much ❤️
