using knife to open shells looks good. personnelly I use agricultural knife strong, short and curved (we use it traditionnaly in wineyards to crop grape)
Thank you, Madam. This was the clearest, most informative video I've seen about how to crack a coconut. I feel like I might manage better next time I try, thanks to you.
I watched tais from Brazil.... Nice! You have string hands.. crafty...Usually when i took out The shell... it is Hard to Take out The Flesh Nice and clean Live you did
You made me smile so much! Thank you for sharing your personality with us. It's utterly delightful to hear your commentary about non-coconut-related things. (I like hearing the sidebars!)
Hi, this reply might be late, but is there a easy way to preserve the shell in 2 even halves or even 1 decent half? I want to use it for something. Regards
I use a knife sharpening rod ( a long one ). Tap around the center and it cracks. Then I take one of the half's and holding it in my hand , tap from one side to the other with a ball pein hammer ( the rounded end ) and it will crack letting the meat fall out.
This is a 4 minute job at best yet her pie hole made it very long. This is not the best way to remove the meat btw. Cracking it, yes and she doesn't mention cleaning the brown film on the outside off.
