Rosuvastatin gave me horrible muscle cramps, joint pain, and brain fog. I couldn't hardly move. I'm in my 60's and quit rosuvastatin. Now I feel like I did in my 40's. To me, that crap was poison.
I am on 10 mg. of Rosuvastatin. From mid April to mid July I am pleasantly surprised that my LDL has gone down 150 points with no noticeable side effects. I would like to reduce it even more with help from my diet. What foods are recommended to eat and not eat while on this medicine. Thank you for your video.
It caused me liver problems (eyes turned yellow and body), urine was dark almost orange, acid reflux, ibs and many other problems long term. Oh yeh, wicked muscle aches and joints hurt like ??? Dangerous to your long term health
HDL is no longer considered to be a “good “ cholesterol. Higher levels of HDL are found to be associated with worse outcomes. It’s best to keep LDL and HDL levels down…
I've been prescribed atorvastatin. I am on finasteride for hairloss and I have noticed shedding while combining atorvastatin to Finasteride. I read that atorvastatin reduces the metabolism of finasteride, so it's highly likely that the shedding I am experiencing is due to Atorvastatin. Rosuvastatin does not have any interaction with Finasteride. Would Rosuvastatin be the best option in place of Atorvastatin? What would be the best statin that does not have interaction with finasteride? I will speak to my GP about this
