I just put a deposit on a 2021 Stabicraft 2250 Offshore and I'm seriously confused by all the choices available for my electronics. It seems that all the different brands refer to their own acronyms and model IDs that I am not familiar with, and I can't get a feel for which system would be the better value. What I think I want is something like the Simrad 16" MFD with Halo radar and structure scan, 3d, autopilot, and remote control, plus VHF. Can you tell me if it looks like I am heading off in the wrong direction, or if this might be the basics of a decent system? I intend to fish the west coast -- I live on San Juan Island -- so from Alaska in the summer to SoCal in the winter. Most of my fishing is for halibut, tuna, marlin, and swords, so, surface to deep water. Can you recommend a top line system that would work for what I'm doing? Thanks for your help, Bob Baldwin
This only works in certain places like the keys and very few other locations. The package is very misleading saying Port St.Lucie to New Orleans. if you are not in one of the limited locations, don't buy it. I live in North Florida and it doesn't work at all in my area. I will be returning it...
Hy, I have Simrad GO7 XSR,also a Navionics card,at the begging when i use the function Sonar Chart Live with Overlays, it was function. But now on the last two fishing time,i see that is not recording the biometrics line during my movement on the water, what is wrong? All setting ar the same,or i need to set also in trail the record ?
The main different is the transducer. More refined detail and clearer returns. The AI 3in1 is the new totalscan. On one it seems there's a rebate offer.
hi, we have the c-map for rivers, which often changes it's depth: plus / minus 2 meters is common for the river rhine. How can the system be adjustet? Thanks!
You will need to create a new route in order to view/use Easy Routing feature. Check out this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tr358n5zPiM.html
The Reveal charts will have some extra features, like 3D shaded relief, Raster charts, etc. Please follow the link to see the features available www.c-map.com/search-charts
I’ve had a go7 for a view years. Last Sunday it updated it self on the sea & I’ve lost all my markers and tracks. Would you know how to get my data back any help would be helpful thanks
Have you backed up all your user's data and saved data onto a memory card? We're afraid you might have lots everything. Had you, by any chance, sync your unit with the Simrad app? Please send us a message on FB.
Is there a way to use the Genesis Data and have it displayed in the form of the shaded relief? That would be a game changer for user-recorded chart data!
Have several questions on my Simrad evo3S and c-map reveal. Do you have a phone contact # for Sean Edmunds so I can talk with him on my boat. thx Mark Meehan
@@simrad-yachting hi. I believe I have registered my card in August last year. But, I cannot renter the webstore with my password details. What are my next steps to obtain the card number?
Do you have only the screen or do you have the black box too? It the back of the screen you'll find on card slot. You could also purchase the MI10 card reader for your unit.
I’m about to get the CMap reveal . I getting it more for inshore and the backcountry. I have a simrad Go 9. Will I be able to see the shaded Relief hi res pictures of the ocean floor off shore, reefs, wrecks, drop offs (like in this video)or do I need the 12 inch or the NssEvo ex? I was looking at florida Marine track Maps because it shows the Google earth views of every location from south Florida to the keys. Does c map reveal have that as well and will it work on my unit. Thank you anthony
It will depend on the chart card and the area you choose, but yes, the GO 9 will have features such as Shaded Relief and High-Res Bathy when you insert a Reveal card in it.
Trips are marked private at the time of upload and that status will not change unless requested by the user. If the subscription will expire you will simply lose access to the features of Genesis Edge.
