Singapore could build a 30-hectare renewable energy farm in the waters around Raffles Lighthouse. Authorities are looking into the feasibility of harnessing energy from the sun as well as tides on a large scale. Experts say this would be the first such facility in Singapore to combine the two and it could be used for charging electric harbour craft. Jeraldine Yap with more.

wind energy vs tidal energy, Singapore should utilised tidal energy, we have no space for wind, no safe zone for nuclear, limited space for solar.
