Hainanese Chicken Rice is the national dish of Singapore. The connoisseur will look at everything from the rice (cooked in chicken broth), to the chicken (fire-grilled or steamed) to even the texture of the chicken skin (crispy, gelatinous, melt-in-your-mouth) to the accompanying sauces, especially the chili sauce. Loy Kee Best Chicken Rice is one of the best indoor locations, for those who might find it difficult handling the heat out at hawker centres, although hawker centre chicken rice may have some higher ratings. Loy Kee Best Chicken Rice, is no slouch, however. Just look at its walls and you'll know that this place has been visited by many celebrities spanning all over Asia.
