Here's the newest addition to our five minute dinner series. Singapore noodles are a welcome visitor for dinner, easily customisable to suite what you have in the press.
Sorry we don't have a written recipe for this! We're currently working on an updated and improved version which will feature in our new book (to be launched in Spring 2018)... So please bear with us until then!
All the best,
Dave & Steve.

Sesame oil should be added at the end for aromatics and flavor - it burns easily and loses its true essence under wok heat. Try this with a peanut or vegetable oil in the work first and then finish with some sesame oil. You can also toast the curry powder briefly in the hot oil first to really release those flavors and cook them through before everything else goes in.

I'm not sure how it works in the UK, but the in the US (and I believe Canada too), organic farms can use pesticides. The difference is that they cannot use SYNTHETIC pesticides. So I would wash my produce no matter what! Especially considering how many times its touched before it makes it to your own home. Best practice to go ahead and wash it :).

Hey guys! I was the one who commented on organic produce being sprayed with pesticides. In the US, organic foods have a set list of allowed pesticides that may be used on produce. Perhaps the farm you worked on did not use pesticides, but MANY do! I suppose it varies from farm to farm, so you'd have to really know where your food is coming from to *really* know if there are pesticides sprayed. Cheers!

Just wanna add to the clarifying comments: Organic produce IS often sprayed with pesticides (chemicals derived from animals or plants) and is still harmful when consumed. Soak with citrus or vinegar for 15 minutes to help remove the pesticides, dirt, etc. I was under the impression organic meant not grown with pesticides.. well, that is very wrong. Don't forget to practice effective produce hygiene. And no, forgoing responsible produce hygiene will not strengthen your immune system.

Just because something is organic doesn't mean it hasn't been exposed to pesticides. There are plenty of very toxic pesticides approved for organic farming.
@lowhangingvegetable

None, but unless you're an insect the minor trace levels of pesticides you might find on your food are completely harmless. If you've ever drank a cup of coffee or a glass of wine then you've already consumed something hundreds of times more toxic.
