Sentosa Island is a resort island in Singapore. There are three beaches on Sentosa Island, and they are all manmade, meaning that the sand was imported from Malaysia, and the entire beachfront coastline was constructed for the pleasure of Singapore residents and tourists coming into Singapore. Palawan Beach is the centrally located beach, and hence, the busiest. There are many activities on the beach (beach volleyball, Palawan rope bridge, Hyper Dash) as well as next to the beach (Hyper Drive, Ultra Golf) and beach bars. Tanjong Beach is the quietest beach, and is the most tranquil for relaxation. Tanjong Beach Club was nominated for Conde Naste's World's Best Bar & Beach award. There is a SGD$400 minimum food & drink charge, however, so many guests get champagne, oysters and truffle fries! Sentosa Beach is another beach with some nearby attractions, including ziplines!
