One of the things I really enjoy about Dimash's performances is how his songs are arranged. Dimash works very hard at this with his very close friend and musical arranger Erlan Bekchurin. They have been working together for a while now and their arrangements are spectacular! I think it must be hard to imagine how he could be better than he is here. It really was only 3 years ago. He really was an already pretty seasoned performer when you start looking at his older performances. What makes him a bit different today, in my opinion, is that his voice has matured further so that it's even richer.... That he's not on a talent show so he is more at ease and free in his performances.... That he experiments with songs and works mostly on deepening the impact and expressing fully what he's feeling yet hasn't lost any power or the range. In fact his range seems to have has increased a bit... That he's all about connecting with the audience.... That the songs he's doing are such a phenomenal level more suited to his voice... That his personality and humbleness has not wavered a millimeter and he is SOOOO grounded that it humbles me. This may sound melodramatic but I don't care. I'm going to say it anyway. His concerts (most notably his NY concert but others too) when taken as a whole, are sort of ....wow I don't know how to say it... His concerts are more than amazing music and fantastic singing. His concerts are a true back and forth communication and sharing of the heart between Dimash and the audience. You can see him, you can hear him, but the magic is... you feel him in your chest, in your heart, soul to soul communication. And he feels that same thing too. You can tell. It really is beyond anything I've ever seen. And you will know what I'm talking about when you eventually see it.

My suggestion for "Unforgettable Day" is that you react to the "Singer" version first. Then his "Gakkau" concert version in front of 150,000 people. There's a big surprise for you at the end of this version of the song which is NOT to be missed. You can always do his "Bastau" concert version another time maybe. Have you noticed how every performance has something new? 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

We can see Dimash really did get you!This is what happened to us,too.He got us and never let go!!!The more we listen,the more we want.It's as simple as that!He fills our soul with emotion,joy,pure beauty.It's kind of addictive,yoj know,but it's not a harmful one,on the contrary!🙂

I think something I've always considered with Dimash is that having gotten so much push back about what his voice is capable of in his teenage years I'd imagine he still had quite a lot of reservation about how having fun with his voice, or even just utilising it anywhere near fully, would actually be received. I mean Christ can you imagine having so much possibility within your voice but being told that only 1/5 of it was acceptable and "right". How disheartening and also damn boring would that be.

I think the most amazing thing, besides his vocals, is the fact that at this point he didnt really know english all that well. The singers in this competion have one week to learn the songs, and every song in english he sang for this competition he learned in a week phonetically! I could never learn to sing in another language in one week! That just blows my mind

When you combine Singer and Bastau "Diva Dances" - There is a Gloria Wu version of "Confessa & The Diva Dance", but I would recommend you don't use it. Not for a first experience of the song anyway. Although her "Confessa" has subtitles she replaces concert footage with movie clips she found appropriate. All you have to know is that the dancer represents the woman in the song who he has found cheating on him. She also replaced some of the "Diva Dance" footage, so it's just not worth it for the subtitles. Everybody says to pair them up because Dimash omitted the hardest run of the "Diva Dance" for the Singer episode, but included it in the Bastau concert.

Not sure if anyone ever mentioned it but I read Dimash has a longer than normal vocal cord. Not sure how that helps him but it is an interesting thing if it's true since so many people say so many things. Dimash just does his thing and he seems to know how to do it. There are just so many ways to say he is fabulous and just touches you each time he sings. Ok, heading to your channel now 😀

According to Dimash he composed unforgettable day with 17 and not 19. He wrote the melody the lyrics are not from him. He composed several songs. For example war and peace too.
