Mitch went through a phase where he loved imitating everyday noises. He would emulate the sound of the auto paper towel dispenser in the bathroom, markers (as you saw/heard), the sounds of a hand dryer, etc. He's an amazing mimic. Edit: here's a video showings them in action ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NA5_WKKiSAY.html
I believe he may have perfect pitch. He can jump from a lower note to a very high note without any effort. His whistle making the sound of Scott’s sharpie. Did it without seeming to think. He is exceptional.
Then you need to see the Superfruit Hip Hop Goes Broadway (both). And, their collab with Lindsay Sterling on 'Radioactive' (Clips in this video). So much more to see!
There are so, so many Pentatonix songs that I haven’t (yet) seen that you’ve reacted to. But Kirstie’s whistle notes are also impressive, so if there’s a compilation out there by the same guy, for her (& Scott & Kevin & Avi), then you’re in for a real treat! I’m still playing catch-up, so haven’t yet seen all of your PTX Sing Off reactions! Excited.
Long list of suggestions, because why not, I really love your reactions. But don't worry, I'm not asking you to do them all, I just like to give a lot of options lol Just see if anything catches your eye :) First of all, any and all Superfruit content is welcome! For music related videos I’d suggest obviously the new music videos, Hurry Up, Deny U, Worth It... and then there’s older stuff like Defying Gravity, Empire Medley and OF COURSE Hip-Hop Goes Broadway (1 & 2), which are also very funny. To get to know them a little better I’d say stuff like REACTING TO OLD PERFORMANCES (“old” as in from when they were children/teens, it’s very interesting), BOYFRIEND TAG (they talk about their friendship basically) and MORE LIKELY TO. Some of the funniest are definitely YOGA CHALLENGE (this one is a must! seriously.), 75 AMAZING PICK UP LINES (they have such a weird sense of humor, I love it), DISNEY CHANNEL WAND IDs, SPEECH JAMMER CHALLENGE, REENACTING CUTE COUPLE PHOTOS, CRUSHING THINGS WITH OUR SECURITY GUY, GHOST HUNTING, RIPPING OUR FACES OFF… oh, whatever, they’re always funny. Oh! And the FREESTYLE RAP CHALLENGE is the best/worst video in existence. For PTX I'll just suggest some live performances because they're seriously amazing live - When they sing without microphones
Loved it! Great reaction! I think you guys are great in the way you know and love music and communicate that in your reactions! Again, great reaction! ! !
The one you said "I wanna watch that right now" That was Hip Hop Goes Broadway (cant remember if it's 1 or 2). Which you guys should totally react to ;)
loved the reaction!! you guys should definitely check out the ones you haven't seen: Pentatonix Star Wars Tribute at the AMAs, We Are Ninjas, and Dance of The Sugar Plum Fairy (although I believe reactors have had copyright issues with that one). you should also react to more superfruit!! id love to see you react to more of their original music and non musical episodes! some suggestions: Hurry Up! music video, Deny U music video, Defying Gravity, Frozen Medley, and for non musical episodes, Freestyle Rap Challenge, the Boyfriend Tag, Try Not To Laugh, and 75 Amazing Pickup Lines :))
Ok, This are my suggestions of Pentatonix (PLEASE DO IT): -Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy PTX -Cracked PTX (ORIGINAL SONG) -Gangman Style (video and bloopers) PTX -God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen PTX -I Need Your Love Cover live PTX -Joy to the World PTX -Perfume Medley PTX (English-Japanese) -Problem Cover PTX -Radioactive Cover PTX -Ride Cover PTX -SING PTX (ORIGINAL SONG) -We are Ninjas PTX And Superfruit (PLEASEEEEEEE) -DEFYING GRAVITY (This video was a birthday gift from Mitch to Scott because the musical Wicked is scott's favorite) -DENY U (OF COUSE THE VIDEO WAS AWESOME) -FEELING MYSELF -HIP HOP GOES BROADWAY and HIP HOP GOES BROADWAY 2 (Both with bloopers in the end) Of course there is much more music but these are the main ones! You should also watch the videos of your Sing-Off (really you have to). Greetings to Marco and Ali of a Pentaholic from Venezuela!
Guys, Loving your work. Pentatonix LIVE videos to look for.... (very few people have reacted to these and they have good/great sound quality). Live on the Honda Stage at iHeartRadio (Cracked / Misbehavin / Can't Sleep Love Live at 3FM Studios (La La Laatch / Problem) Love Again - live on 24-7 City Secrets Pentatonix Rooftop Show Show You How to Love - LIVE ON SUNSET We Are Young (Live on Hollywire) Till the End of Time (Live on Hollywire) Run to You - Live in Vienna Run to You - Live in Pasadena Live on iHeartRadio - Can't Sleep Love Live on iHeartRadio - Cheerleader Run To You, Singapore, Mastercard Theatre Aha - House of Blues, Boston, MA - 4-5-14 Other videos I think you may have not reacted to..... Radioactive - Lindsey Stirling and Pentatonix (Imagine Dragons Cover) Sing We Are Young - (Fun cover) Hip Hop Goes Broadway 1 and 2 (SUPERFRUIT - and when watching Superfruit always look for the out takes after the credits). Trio Sings Telephone by Lady Gaga in Concert (Pre Pentatonix - School Concert - Where it all began!) Defying Gravity (Superfruit) THE SING OFF (TV Show - Performance 4 is probably blocked, non of the others are. This is essential to see how they develop as a group and where they came from) That should keep you going for a while. Thanks, Dave.
I absolutely LOVE you guys. As always, I put my "like" on the requests for certain videos but couldn't find one for this so I'm going to ask you to react to the AMAs where PTX did a "star wars" medley AND the Grammy's with Stevie Wonder (they did a tribute to Earth Wind & Fire due to Maurice's death weeks prior to the Grammys) Can't wait to see all the new reactions!
*How did you know the lyrics to Misbehavin thooooooo* I love you, guys! I'm always waiting for you to upload, you can always put a smile on my face :) Love from Portugal!!
List of the videos you didn't know besides all the single Superfruit Episodes and Interviews and stuff (in order) and the channels they're on: Mitch - Find you (Zedd Cover) PTX - NSYNC Medley Superfruit - Hip Hop goes Broadway 1+2 Superfruit - 1989 Medley PTX - Radioactive ft. Lindsey Stirling Superfruit - Pop Goes Broadway Superfruit - Frozen Medley PTX - No PTX - I Need Your Love PTX - Aha PTX - Can't Hold Us PTX - See Through Superfruit - Defying Gravity PTX with Stevie Wonder PTX - TMNT PTX - Star Wars Tribute PTX - Dance Of The Sugarplum Fairy Feel free to correct me
Vocal range compilations always show all the many works they've done. I'd skip to superfruit hip hop goes broadway 1 and 2 before going back to Radioactive, We Are Ninjas, and Star Wars.
Hello! Would you please react to Scott Hoying vocal range by the same person who did Mitch's vocal range? Also Scott Hoying's Riff & Runs posted by PTX Videos if possible? :D
Some of the ones you seemed interested in : Ptx: we are ninjas , Star Wars ama performance, radioactive, dance of the sugarplum fairy, grammy performance w Stevie wonder ...suggestion: I need your Love sing off performance, or their sing off performances in general if u wana to do a marathon(how ptx started), Elvira mini performance on country music awards Superfruit: hip hop goes broadway 1 &2 , condom challenge, defying gravity ...suggestions: best friend challenge getting turnt, frozen medley, anti medley(Idr if you did it already) Ps. You guys are awesome 💛
Back from the future...you should react to the "Star Wars Tribute" they did at the AMA's. It was a Collaboration with a Symphony Orchestra. The first part was a capella, then the orchestra joined them. Avi has some great vocals in that one as well! TMZ actually stopped Scott crossing the street and was calling ptx out for allegedly being A Capella, yet they sang with a Symphony Orchestra on the AMA's.. and a very obviously irate Scott said they sang the first part A Capella.. the guy persisted on trying to make something out of nothing and Scott said they were invited to do a collaboration with a Symphony Orchestra in a Star Wars Tribute, they accepted, and the first part was A Capella. man, Scott looked upset... and I know I WAS upset watching that!
The videos you said you need to see are SF: Hip-Hop Goes Broadway 1 (do it with #2)(where Mitch is wearing the jaguar print); PTX: Imagine Dragons: Radioactive, with Lindsey Stirling; and PTX: Star Wars Tribute (Live at the AMA's 2015). There was also PTX: We Are Ninjas and SF: The Condom Challenge that you commented on. With the Christmas songs, the best bet is to not play their audio and help us sync up with the original video.
Okay. You asked for suggestions. Well I've got one that may be out there for you. I stumbled on a video when I was looking for English lyrics to the song "Papaoutai". What I found was a little girl playing the piano singing it. It was the French version of X-Factor, so she was obviously singing in French. Doesn't matter, she was just 8. So I kept looking, and I found her again, a couple years later. WOW! What a difference. Okay, her name is Erza, I believe. Dear God, you have got to see her sing. No I don't speak french. I just have an appreciation of beautiful talent. You won't be disappointed. Thank, Mindy
I DIDN'T GET THE NOTIFICATION DSGHFHSFSDHSGDHSGDHS 😠😠😣 Told you its not over yet!! There's crazy amount left for both PTX and Superfruit. 😁😁 The ones you said you wanna watch immediately are: Superfruit's Hip Hop goes broadway 1&2; PTX Star wars tribute, Ninga turtles and Radioactive. *HOW DID YOU KNOW MISBEHAVING????* You have GOTTA watch Scott's riffs and runs compilation, Avi's range and Kirstin's whistles as well. GGAAAHHHH THERE IS SO MUCH MORE PTX RELATED STUFF TO COME, I'M SO EXCITED 😁😁😁😁 LOVE YA'LL ZOMAJ!!
I love your reactions! I know some more Pentatonix you could do! (I don't think you've done them before). BTW, the length of this list and the fact that it was off the top of my head is why the term “Pentaholic” is so apt! You said you wanted lots of Pentatonix, though, so here you go: Pentatonix's live Star Wars Tribute from the AMAs ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RHM9sPGTb-g.html Pentatonix's music video of Ariana Grande's "Problem": ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4Z9b2HiW_L8.html Superfruit "Feeling Myself" (they can rap!): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ziNVvFMOtLc.html I found a live no-mic version of "Daft Punk Medley" - looks like they're singing it to friends. It's really cool to see how they achieve effects normally achieved with editing with just their voices, how good they sound in an ordinary room without mics, and how well they work together: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tw4YCsHXKgI.html Pentatonix music video "Starships" - (They won the Sing Off, but the record label cancelled their record contract. So they went and did it themselves - because starships fly regardless!) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_6K8mkytEMY.html Pentatonix with Lindsay Stirling music video "Radioactive" Kevin plays his cello while beatboxing (he calls it "celloboxing") in this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eh-72yBP7sw.html Pentatonix music video Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" (from 2012 - this is one of their earliest) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hOKuAigsrec.html Pentatonix music video "Mary Did You Know" A Christmas song, and Christmas is coming up! This is the most beautiful version of the song I've ever heard - goosebumps every time: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ifCWN5pJGIE.html Pentatonix music video Carol of the Bells Another good Christmas song - incredible version: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WSUFzC6_fp8.html Pentatonix music video White Winter Hymnal Yet another great Christmas song, and they all do percussion in this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o10drRI3VQ0.html Pentatonix music video "Rather Be" Kirsty sings lead on this one, and something I noticed was that even though Scott has such a powerful lead voice, he blends perfectly into the background when he wants to. It's great to see how versatile they are and also how generous and supportive they are to each other - no one of them showing off or trying to steal the show: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OPWPa-HMpj8.html Pentatonix "Cracked" - (there isn't a visual performance for this one that I've been able to find, so I don't know if it's something you'd do, but there's a lot of Scott and Avi in it and its awesome, so even if you don't react, take a listen!) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pbXFUeSRJP4.html PTX does Meghan Trainor's "No" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W9LJDwZOprY.html PTX does Mackelmore's "Thrift Shop" (this one is funny, all the way to the very end, where they sing impromptu "please subscribe") ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y0qJdShOL_s.html Ooh, I just found a good recording of PTX performing live "Light in the Hall" - they performed it at the end of the concert I went to. No mics - the entire stadium went pin-drop silent (right after applause so hard and long that it made my ears ring - it was their encore) This one is close to my heart - I brought my kids to the concert and my younger one snuggled up to me during this song and 'll be honest - it made me cry. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CN6-YZ4xVTc.html
If you're looking for more crazy Mitch notes, I suggest checking out their cover of Ride but Twenty One Pilots. It is CRIMINALLY underrated and tbh might be one of my favorite covers they've ever done. Here's the link to the best quality performance: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mR3l-vjROiA.html
Superfruit "Defying Gravity" (Mitch in green Halloween kids face makeup, and Scott wearing a long, blond wig), Superfruit "Frozen Medley" ft. Kirstin Maldonado, Superfruit "Hip-hop Goes Broadway I and II, Duffy ft. Mitch Grassi " Find You" a Zedd Cover, Pentatonix "Radioactive" ft. Lindsay Stirling, Pentatonix "Ninja Turtles", Pentatonix "Star Wars Tribute" at the AMAs(???) a collaboration with a symphony (I don't remember the name of the) orchestra. I can't figure out Twitter b'cause of neuro-cognitive overload and rapid fatigue 😭 loved your reaction!
You won't go wrong with Superfruit ... parts one and two of "Hip Hop Goes Broadway" videos (that's the video where Marco said he wanted to watch it right now), and anything from their all-original two-part album: I particularly love their latest video. It's for their song "Deny U."
Yes, without a doubt Mitch is exceptional but then, so is Kevin (and the rest of PTX). Please do reactions to Kevin's cover of Marion Hills "Down" and Harry Styles "Sign of the Times". Both are exceptional.
Can't wait to see more of your Reactions to Pentatonix and Superfruit! Lots of Superfruit - Evolution of Lady Gaga and Empire Medley please!!! Thanks for all your Reactions!
I agree with Vals suggestions, especially SILENT NIGHT (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sme8N2pzRx8.html) , LIGHT IN THE HALLWAY (live or recorded), both of which are stunningly beautiful pieces that I feel they really put their hearts into. Those clips with just Mitch and Scott singing "Ball it up, Ball it up..." and Mitch singing "I'm way up, I feel blessed" are from their HIP HOP GOES BROADWAY videos. They have made two of them and they are both absolutely hilarious! Talk about talent and sense of humor! I always watch them when I need a pick me up. Even the bloopers at the end are so funny! When you're ready for some Christmas music you have to check out MARY DID YOU KNOW (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ifCWN5pJGIE.html) and DANCE OF THE SUGAR PLUM FAIRY (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jt3oAyK_IG8.html), both are amazing : D. Also, if you truly enjoyed the official version of their song RUN TO YOU you need to check out this live recording (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2i61_JNc_Nc.html). It blows the official version out of the water. There are so many more great vids and songs from this group, enjoy exploring them!
Just a note: Pentatonix's videos for "Mary did you know" and "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" are two songs that get copyright blocked. They will have to be muted or cut like they had to do with the "Winter Wonderland/Don't Worry" video. Also copyright blocked are their official videos for "The First Noel", "Joy to the World", "White Winter Hymnal", and their cover of Meghan Trainor's "No".
Bummer! I didn't realize that, thanks. I guess we don't get reaction videos on those then. But I'd still love to see some on the Hip Hop goes Broadway vids! They are so fun :).
That wasn't a wissle it was a vocal exercise and its precision at that pitch is why he has that control and range in the highs, kudos... And keep it up.
A clip you should check is Them Live at the AMA’S doing some music from the Star Wars series, and We Are Ninja’s a original song they wrote for the Ninja Turtles Movie.

You guys should check out Piet Arion on RU-vid. Whistle master. Just a sample: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g3qf2fvXIIs.html Whistles are at the end of course. The Long and Winding Road is my fave complete video.
Have you heard any Home Free ( a country a cappella group--- they do sing other styles, though) . If you haven’t, I suggest beginning with their cover of “A Man of Constant. Sorrow. “ Then you dig around in their Rabbit hole. Cheers
only two people have ( had... ) this insane vocal range: Mitch Grassi and Prince ( Prince has a vocal range of 6 octaves, without whistler voice!). Mitch comes close.
Radioactive-features Lindsey Stirling plays the violin on it. You should check out her stuff too. Dance of the sugar plumb fairies- PTX . And you should look up the videos about Avi singing with overtones! It’s wild. Trust me on that
Omg....I keep forgetting. Y'all got to react to this amazing 9 yr old lil girl Angelica Hale she is Rrrreally good! React to her America's got talent audition first
Lina Lu YES! I just commented to victorsixtythree on another video that we need to get Marco & Ali to listen to her! Here is her first audition. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-b1NVOsatpF0.html
