Thank you so much for that iconic Kylie Minogue reaction. I don't know if it is allowed but I would like to make a request. You could react to Kylie Minogue - The crying game medley live on the Fever Tour. This performance is wonderful and shows all the vocal power of Kylie. She got a subscriber. Big hug from Brazil.
This Brit Awards performance was in 2002 and became iconic. It was the year that saw her win 2 Brit Awards one for International Female and Best International Album with Fever. She became inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2011. Kylie is the only female artist to have number 1 albums spanning 5 decades here in the United Kingdom which is quite something considering if it hadn't have been for the late Michael Gudinski at Mushroom records who got her to have hit songs with what was deemed the Hit Factory here in the UK from 1987 to now, she might have still been in neighbours as she started out as an actress having done various roles in shows not shown here in the UK apart from soaps like The Sullivans, Prisoner Cell Block H, The Young Doctors etc. Funny how Neigbours could only get Scott and Charlene back on screen was for their final episode, Kylie and Jason back where they became mega famous in the 80s on a show that was at it's peak with those iconic characters, how Mrs Mangel and Helen Daniels would have love to have been around to see that!
Hope you're well. Just some more info: She's actually singing 'La la la' not 'na na na' lol The setup, routine and look was massively inspired by Dr Who and the Cybermen, who creative designer William Baker was a huge fan of xx
Kylie knows here ability when singing live. She knows what notes she can hit & those she maybe couldn't, so she adjusts her vocals/songs so she can sing them LIVE. That is SMART. That's also why she doesn't overdo the movements. I think I have heard Kylie herself say in an interview she isn't a dancer. But she doesn't need to be. Kylie has MOVES & they work!😛. She reinvents her songs and they STILL are HOT HOT HOT. So many others think they must replicate their studio recordings at their concerts so they basically play the studio versions at their concerts with added distractions🤣
CGYOOMH for short was written by Cathy Dennis and Rob Davis of mud. The song was offered to Sophie Ellis Bextor then S Club 7 before it landed in Kylies lap. She fell in love with it after only 20 seconds of listening to the demo. The silver dancers and the little hand movement were actually a hint of the KylieFever2002 that would follow a month later. This I believe was the first "bootleg" which then resulted in the array of tracks that followed. The official title of this version is Can't Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head. Kylie does write her own stuff, 2 albums where she co-wrote all the tracks are Impossible Princess and Disco, cant stop writing songs about you with the incredible Gloria Gaynor, from the reissue of Disco, is the only track on Disco she didn't co-write. As others have suggested, I recommend Confide in Me (New York), The Crying Game (KylieFever2002) also Your Disco Needs You (Royal Albert Hall) and for a curveball, Too Far (Showgirl Homecoming). Much love from Scotland.
Kylie has sung LIVE on every performance (TV or live Show) from 2006 onwards - no lipsyncing ever. In the early 2000s singing to a pre recorded vocals still was normal and even a lot of tv stations wanted the acts to do so!
Kylie did Ray Cokes MTV for the 1994 album all live and really began to develop her artistry and musicality - her tours were always live and her evolutions are masterful.
If you were to do more Kylie performances I think two of her real standouts are Your Disco Needs You (X Tour which you'll struggle to find on youtube for some reason) and Confide in Me live in New York, interestingly both of these were a few years after her breast cancer treatment and I think those years were some of her strongest years vocally
2002 was 20 years ago, not 10...time has really begun to fly since then and yes Kylie does write many of her songs, but not this particular one. It was written by Rob Davis and singer/songwriter Cathy Dennis. Cathy herself had a few solo top 50 hits of her own in Australia in the early 90''s including "Just Another Dream", "Touch Me (All Night Long" and "Too Many Walls".
Iconic performance. Recorded in mid 2000 and released in 2001 September. This perfomance is February 2002. I'm a huge fan but her vocals here were pre-recorded and mimed to. I'm the girl at the front screaming with excitement. The pole she held on to one of the stage crew left some gaffer tape on it and she threw it off it as she descended down to perform. This track was mixed with Blue Monday by New Order. It was a great comeback after the horrific 9/11 attacks and really lifted the public mindset. Nevertheless she's an incredibly kind, talented and iconic woman. Her first show was 'Skyways' in the late 70s. 'Can't Get You Out Of Head' was written by Cathy Dennis and Rob Davis. The 'How Does It Feel' from Blue Monday by New Order were pre recorded. I have the original demo. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c7wX5d_baig.html
@@voxsingingacademy You too. Please review some live Prince performances. His performance of Purple Rain in the film was from a live sound recording from the First Avenue club (Minnesota) in 1983. So what you hear is completely genuine. X
This was completely live. Her vocals. From her FEVER2002 Tour.. The Crying Game vs Kylie's 1992 Single The 'Finer Feelings'. Samples from her 1995 Single 'Where Is the Feeling' and her 1994 single 'Put Yourself In My Place'. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-noj-l1GL_lY.html Please review this x💗
Especially after seeing you say she doesn’t have a huge range ;) think the pop songs she sings doesn’t let her show it off and she’s just not a show off.
Love this! I have some Kylie suggestions that I've been wanting a vocal coach to look at for ages as I think her actual singing is underrated!! The Crying game fever 2002 live Confide in me any live performance Automatic love live parabens rtp Portugal 1996 Your disco needs me x2008 live 😊
Your Disco Needs You is really great, she sings it live on the X Tour, the Kiss Me Once Tour and the Christmas at the Royal Albert Hall, and you can really see her vocal power at the very end of the song
Thank you for the reaction. I always thought she was miming to the pre-recorded vocals there, because it was so common in 2000s pop world Would love to see your reaction to Crying Game medley or Confide in Me (live in new york), but also Intimate and Live 1998 tour reaction - her voice sounded so much different there, and her singing technique (in my opinion) is very bad, but interesting what a professional thinks of it :)
COME OFF IT, clearly the amount of recorded help etc on the vocal track is obvious , at least 5 layers of track on track, throw her a mic and get her to sing, won't ever happen
@@AussieOutlaw She is not singing living here, but sings live on every tour since 1998, just check it ou her Aphrodite Les Folies Tour available on youtube.
