Shrek wasn't a monster. He was just waiting for the right people to peel back his layers. Lol Edit: Either people don't understand sarcastic jokes about ogres and onions or you're just trolling. And if this video was referencing the original book and not the movie, I would agree with you. He was a monster.
@@shandare If I'm understanding your comment correctly, thank you for understanding the joke. I'd give you more than one like if it was allowed. And thank you for having a sense of humor. I never thought I would have to utter that last sentence. LMAO
This just should have been a Shrek cover medley or a just dance Shrek, literally everyone was singing and bopping, it's literally so hard not to do so with the Shrek soundtracks. But seriously Shrek 2's soundtrack is peak though! I love Accidentally in Love, Funky Town, Livin La Vida Loca, and Holding Out for a Hero!
Its wild because before Shrek, Smashmouth was a regular band that would play on the radio but now it is forever associated with Shrek. Or is that only for me? Lol
I love the Viva La Vida Loca and I'm A Believer covers specifically because of Antonio Banderas' flamenco adlib and Eddie Murphy going full gospel with it. Genuinely my two favorite covers ever.
When I was a kid, my single parent father did a lot of different things to support us. One was he'd buy trashed classic cars and restore and sell them. We were poor but my dad drove really cool cars. One we didn't sell until *absolutely* necessary was our '66 Barracuda. The same one from the song's music video. MAN we loved that car. My dad loved it in large part because they are *super* easy to repair. A really classy car all around, we had a 'Bumble Bee' paint job on it which was awesome.
As insane as it sounds, that really IS the Fergie cover of Barracuda. I had to go look it up because I was like ain’t no way Fergie is sounding that good on a rock song.
Just like with Guardians of the Galaxy and now Shrek, why not do a Try Not to Sing Deadpool: Juice Newton - “Angel of the Morning” Salt-N-Pepa - “Shoop” DMX - “X Gon' Give It To Ya” Chicago - “You're the Inspiration” George Michael - “Careless Whisper” ------ Céline Dion - “Ashes” DJ Shadow feat. Run The Jewels - “Nobody Speak” Peter Gabriel - “In Your Eyes” a-ha - “Take on Me(MTV Unplugged)” -------- *NSYNC - “Bye Bye Bye” Stray Kids - “SLASH” Goo Goo Dolls - “Iris” Chris de Burgh - “The Lady in Red” Avril Lavigne - “I'm with You ” John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John - “You're the One That I Want ” Eric Carmen - “Make Me Lose Control” Madonna - “Like a Prayer”
These songs are such good songs, the shrek movies are just iconic, the 2nd one has to be my favourite besides the 1st one. The last song from the 2nd one is my favourite eddie and Antonio are such good singers together.
It is a CRIME to not have included "C minor, put it in C minor" in the Holding out for a hero part. And while I'm talking about the song, I can't not think of annapantsu's cover of it, so I thought "Why not get a try not to sing episode that couples as a reaction fo her covers?"
This is why Shrek is so loved the music is catchy and most you think of this franchise. Especially Smash Mouth and Im a Believer songs I know the color green flashes through my mind when i hear them.
My romance journey basically follows Shrek franchise. My husband and I dated after Shrek came out, got married after 2 came out and had kids after 3 and we've successfully made it through Shrek 4 with 2 kids....no triplets.
You cannot just sit still while the songs used for Shrek are playing, it’s impossible not to. Except for the Duloc song, that I’ll resist cause it sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen.
