I'd like to publicly mention that my opinion on Southeast Softwash has changed over time. I would like you to disregard my comments about them being MLM. While they are expensive, they are a good company and their heart is in the right place. Never be afraid to admit your mistakes.
@@thomasweis Can you do video about softwashing? I like the honesty and would like to hear more from someone who is not selling courses about it, thanks!
@@thisiswhathappened7247 I can, however it may be a little while until I have one put together. My wife is finishing her doctorate so I've been on the road a lot this year with her. I'll get to it one of these days though
Right on man! We’d love more from an honest, well spoken fella like you. Helpful video that’s to the point and free of bs. Like to hear more about how you started and why fleet washing worked for you. Thanks
I'm still quite new, but I appreciate the words. I absolutely hate bs, and wish more people would produce honest content. I got into fleet washing as a client of mine from a previous job needed his trucks washed. I'm now running a 2019 Promaster 3500 and this my backup rig.
This is the first video that the person answered every question I had without having to ask. Literally shows the carriage bolt underneath the trailer, how he bent the lance, how many feet of hose, the list goes on. Great video man, thanks for the info. 👍
They have come down in price. The new ones are closer to 8 or 900$ I think maybe more. You can build it, but will it work, or last? When I bought mine there were only two companies on the market
Acid is used when washing vehicles. It can help break the bond that hold dirt onto a vehicle, and can help brighten aluminum, as long as it's not polished.
Add another 4pm pump and motor and Siamese them to achieve 8 gpm and maybe add another buffer tank one for each motor, I had two 4gpm Siamese set up with my surface cleaner that shit rips.
Omg finding this video was a blessing. When you mentioned that u tow that with a Prius my eyes popped! I am starting my business and I’m in the process of acquiring a trailer and I also have a Prius so I was so concerned about hauling a big trailer with water tanks on it. Would you share how much load was on the trailer on this video? Also did u ever drove with full tanks? I’ve seen that you’re supposed to keep heavier objects towards the front of the trailer, if they’re towards the back , it gets very unstable. Did u ever experience wobbles while driving or anything of any sort? Please share with me any experiences that would’ve made your life easier that you would change or that you would/ wouldn’t do different? Lol sorry for the humongous question it’s just that I’m in a very similar situation and it can be scary at times, so seeing someone do well and move forward like you simply fills me up with courage and strength!
Let's set up a call? It would be easier for me. I'm currently out of the country but you can text my work number and I'll call when I can. 503 308 8220
NW Chemicals Typhoon typically. It's an aluminum brighter that's is mainly made of Hydrofluoric Acid. Not super common when softwashing, though it has its uses when washing trucks and some property.
Hey so I have a question about the soft wash. So you don’t do soft wash ? And are you referring to the 12v system ? I’m trying to make some money on the side and I want to find a effective / budget friendly solution
I will occasionally use my Softwash system. I typically do mostly fleet washing but Softwash is great money if you can get the work. I'm my area at least there is a company on every corner that offers softwashing and it's pretty diluted.
@@thomasweis there is anyone here that does it that I know of. I live about 45 mins away from companies that do. With that said. I called them and they wanted 600 dollars to wash my house. So roughly .15 cents per square foot. So I guess I can do .11 cents starting out and should be able to make money doing it. Just need to find the set up that doesn’t cost a arm and a leg and will get it done. My 2.5 gallon isn’t doing it and will barely reach the second floor with the second level tips I bought.
I've mentioned it in other comments, but there are a lot of RU-vidrs that are trying to sell their own products and training to the point where it's very mlm.
All depends on what I'm doing, and how often I'm doing them. Box trucks are $70 inside and out (not the inside of the cab) and semi trucks and trailers are $140 typically
@@clintsaines9274 Absolutely, the higher the gpm typically the lower the psi. My 4gpm is roughly 2.2k usually and my 8gpm is 1800 - 2k max typically. 🤙
I have the hose run directly to the pressure washer. I had a T to fill one of the tanks with water and that went to the Softwash system with a 5.5gpm bleach pump
