Simple single switch Tesla coil. Input is half wave rectified 120vac. Circuit is modified from this schematic: pp.userapi.com/CDd5I68O_sQmnZ... Updated coil: • Single MOSFET SSTC
Hello! I was wondering what the circuit board before the fuse is. (about 5 seconds into the video) Does it boost your 120v input to 220v? Because the black and white cables carry AC right? Thank you
@@Tesla210 And one more question. Could I Connect directly from mains without the filter? I've been looking for other circuits and they do not connect directly from the mains. They use a ballast I Hope you could answer me one more time. Thanks a lot
@@nguyendesign4517 I use irfp460 resistor 50kohm and 10kohm diode, mur1560, coil and secondary and primary coil, schematic you can see on my films on my channel
Sorry to bother you again sir but is this circuit the same as the new one or is there changes you made, if so I’d like to know, I love In the U.S and want to use 120 volt ac to power the tesla coil, I can order all parts also
R1 is 2.2k, R2 I used a 20k pot and turn it down till the output is stable. C1 is 1uF 400v film cap. L3-L5 are omitted. I have a 3A fuse on the line. Works on 120vac as I’m in Canada.
That is freaking high frequency. Nice! I made a Tesla coil when I was in High school many years ago. I still have it, I would like to replace the primary with this setup, do you have schematics?
