I love my Method 2 and I think Latitude is a great company. I tried emailing 4 different companies with questions about their saddles. One company actually got back to me Latitude. They are about putting out the best product for their customers, I truly believe that. The kind of company that I am proud to give my business.

Very good review brother you explained all aspects from the bench to the tree. I started in a single panel from another company. I had hip pinch and thought it was too small, I sold it and bought a Latitude Method 2 XL. Best decision I ever made I am over 50 180 lbs and 5'8" was worried I should not have got the XL but very happy I did I can hang in the tree all day with the Method 2 and my EWO Ultimate One stick. Just starting my 3rd year Saddle hunting.

I've really been looking into getting a saddle and have been researching very thoroughly. The Method 2 is the one I keep gravitating towards. I know other single panels do have a back band that you can purchase, but having it built in seems like a clear winner choice. I do know when I go to the order page for Latitude, you can can have a back band add-on. The way you demonstrate the second panel, the back pad accessory would be pointless right? Another question is, with the Method 2, do you have any issues with the magnet part sagging when you have gear on the molle attachments? I would think the waist belt would prevent slipping. I have not seen anyone mention anything about in other videos.

I have never needed a back pad with the Method 2. I tend to pull the top panel up to my lower back. And since I attach my dump pouch, my pull up rope, and any hangers for sticks or platforms to my upper panel at the belt line, then nothing is pulling on the lower panel, so the magnets don't disengage. The only time I have had the magnets disengage is if I crouch down very low to pick something up, but that is simply because of how I keep the leg straps. If I would loosen them up more then this wouldn't happen. But it isn't a big deal and I just like the sense of security of the leg loops being a bit tighter than they probably need to be. Hope that helps. Thanks for the views and comment! Please sub to the channel if you haven't already, it really helps out.

Have you found with the method, while walking, wearing the dump pouches once some weight is in them, do they tend to sag at all or fold the top over, with the belt on that one being 2-3inches below the molle loops?

So far, nothing sags while walking in for me. I only put my gear hanger and tether rope in my dump pouch on my left hip. I don't use a second dump pouch. I use a Doyle's pull up in a EWO fleece pouch on my right hip. Everything rides nice so far, but my season with these saddles is also just beginning. But so far in my testing ... zero issues.

I also use a single pouch. Surprisedly you can fit a lot in one of them. I just stack everything in order of use when i load it. I like mine just to the side, slightly behind me so it doesn't bang around. when it is empty, it is like a feather and you don't even notice it.

ok funny, i didn't realize on the single panel (the one i have) that those were linesmen loops, i always used the bridge loops for the linesmen belt and used the other ones for gear.

I feel conflicted with my Method (not the 2, but has the rope belt upgrade). I love the upper panel back support, but I find that the narrower lower panel tends to put pressure on the ball joint of my hips no matter how I position it. It feels like I need a bigger bottom panel where the bottom edge goes down on my thigh more and cups my rear better. I'm not a big guy (5'10.5" and 170 pounds) but I do have pretty big thighs/butt for my size. Would a single panel with a back band be a better fit perhaps? Or is there something about the Method that I'm missing out on?

It could be that the saddle just doesn't fit your body type. It is so subjective. You might like the Classic single panel with a back band. A lot of guys like that type of setup. I have a back band from my single panel days and it is a good setup. I just prefer the streamlined setup of my Method 2. That or maybe a different 2 panel all together. I still have a two panel from Overwatch Outdoors and honestly it is an AWESOME saddle that is beyond comfortable. The downside to it is that it is heavier than many options and when walking in it takes up a very large foot print on your backside. But the thing is built bomb proof and is very comfortable. I have heard a lot of great things about saddles from Buzzard Roost also and a lot of guys like the Cruzer saddles with the pleat design that opens up. Also heard some good things about the current Trophy Line saddles. Lots of good options out there. Thankfully the gear seems to hold its value so you can sell stuff without much of a loss if something does not work for you. Or buy used and sell for essentially a net zero money loss if you don't like it.

i had similar results but just made the tether longer fits like the larger saddle for the cost of new line.

@@anotheryoutuber_ I tried everything I could and just couldn't get rid of the hip pain using the Method. I got a used Cruzer XC to try out and it fits me a lot better and I can sit longer and more comfortably.

@@stick__shooter right on, my aero hunter had no issues out of the box, but the method did so i got to messing with it and all it needed was a longer bridge, i feel like if your not tinkering your not saddle hunting, glad you found something that works for you.

It's nice, but never used one. So I have no idea how to use one! I like the very much weight reduction verses a climber!!!! But until I try one, I think I will stick with my climbers....
