I said the same thing. His mindset alone shows that this marriage won’t last. He will get comfortable and his true nature will poke through as we all witness a glimpse of it. My own husband said “well he ain’t off to a good start” men know. This dude is so insecure, he finds joy in putting down his wife, how sad. 5 years tops the list I give them, it is so unfortunate. 😞

You give it that long? I'm thinking 2 years, but everything you said is right. I follow her on Insta and she is head over heels with him, which is fine, but HE don't seem to be the same. And I said before, their dynamic mirrors the one I saw with Tia and her ex husband... how she was always so in it and happy and in love, but he was just there. Almost disconnected from her, and this looks similar. I don't want her to go through anything, but when MANY people can see a thing... maybe you're the one that is wrong, that's all I'm saying. And it doesn't mean we're all jealous, but we do get tired of seeing her story play out all over our community. And people may not like it, but I think ANY relationship when a woman pursues a man is doomed because he will always know you want him more than he wanted you... which results in the attitude her man is showing. And she is tolerating and lashing out to defend his foolishness BECAUSE it's true... she want him more than he want her.

@@celi_phiri4610 apparently reading is not fundamental because the 2024 Olympics is in start in July of 2024. She had been working hard to make the team and attend and win gold for herself. But that’s 7 months away and he seems like the type of 🥷who would happily impregnate her before she could compete and meet her goals. That is NOT the same as having a child after achieving your goals….to say that’s cool is amazing because so many women are sabotaged with a baby it’s crazy. 😂😂😂

Too many women overlook the problems to be wife and mother then end up in sorrow and sadness. Women today are waking up and moving on preventive measures. So if that means setting the boundaries, expectations and standards early in the dating stages, do so. Ignoring the problems by thinking marriage and having kids will make it go away- that is the biggest lie ever told. Unfortunately for her she will learn the hard way, but she will learn. 🤷🏽‍♀️😞

This. If any man have me acting out of character or having to be all over defending him when he sitting back acting like what he said/did wasn't wrong... nah, that's not for me. So, there's no jealousy here, but to know she's tolerating that is sad. Also, he said he was FIGHTING being committed, whether to her or not, that's a sign someone don't really want to be there. You don't normally fight against being with someone you want to be with.

I am a woman of certain age married for 25 years and I know for certain that most single women are not jealous of married women but there are some single women AND single men who are. Simone, who is insecure, married an even more insecure -man- boy who probably envies her success in her career. As far as physical appearance, she is a beautiful and he is handsome. Equally yoked there, as far as I'm concerned. Her husband (I really don't know his name) admittedly, made the first move in pursuing her by swiping left, right, up, down or whichever direction and she followed up. He is immature and did this to impress his boys. The men in this interview were trying to save him from himself but this boy went in with his whole chest. They are both still young and have much work and growing up to do. However, Simone definitely better keep her eyes wide open. They should limit social media posts and interviews to the details of their careers, not their relationship. There is plenty of content for Simone in that arena and there is so much that Mr. Biles can write on the topic of football, while sitting on the bench.

I still believe they are in love, but like you said he’s insecure. I think there is that part of him that’s not used to being in the shadows so to speak. So as a Black man, you understand and agree with Black Women (and the rest of the planet) that her husband told the story in an unloving, unflattering, and disrespectful way but you’re still gonna call BW jealous for feeling the same way you do? 🤨 IF we were going to be jealous, wouldn’t it be of a woman who is with a man who took pride in being with her and who has something going for himself other than being his wife’s shadow? The man talked the entire interview about how insecure, below average, traumatized, and physically/genetically weak he is. Every time the hosts prompted him to say something uplifting about her, he rerouted to question. Marrying THE Simone Biles is his only real accomplishment in his life and it’s the thing he seemed least proud of in that interview. There are many love stories worth a single woman’s jealousy, but Simone desperately chasing behind a mediocre NFL player who is comfortable disrespecting her in public, isn’t one.

He knew who she was. He may not know her on a level of other athletes but if he knew who Gabby was, he knew who she was. He definitely heard of her. His half truths still don’t negate the fact that he outright disrespected his wife based on his feelings. No woman is jealous, all I see is woman feeling absolutely sorry for her. I’m happily married and hubby and I BOTH feel sorry for her. Hopefully maybe things will get better for them- who knows. Right now it is a very bad start.

We all are not believing that man didn't know who she was. He would literally have to have been nowhere on this planet to not know who she was... and that's the start of the lies right there. I as a married woman see his comments as disrespectful, but that doesn't mean she should divorce him. That means they need to have a conversation about what to say and what not to say going forward.
