I own the black dial version of the 104 coming up to five years. This is an awesome watch (not perfect) but very good for everyday and mine has been on numerous vacations with me. I didn’t select the H style bracelet instead I went with the Fine bracelet, almost no play like in the H model version from Sinn. Wearing this watch on the Fine bracelet for dress (up to sport coat) looks great, switch to Zulu/NATO for beach or place it on nice chunky leather for everyday wear and it always looks great. Great watch, not perfect but well worth the money.

Thanks for your opinion, just to ask do you find the double numbers, make telling time confusing (bezel # and dial #), do you fine the steel bezel to lose any desire, I understand getting one of these watches now are only used at this time, I was trying to buy the Sinn 104 blue one only 1000 made of this one and I missed the boat so I have to find it used. I am afraid of resale value, I truly only care if the watch keeps it's value, I do buy watches and once I own them they never leave me, but honestly having a hard time deciding on a Sinn or Tudor. The Sinn's look as tough as a tank. The reviews on the 104 are unbelievable mostly great. Don't understand why this watch isn't more popular, in my opinion. Anyway thanks for the video and all the best.

Love this watch

I love this watch. Day-date, lume. AND LUME ON THE TIP OF THE SECONDS HAND. I don't get why other watches put the lume at the back-end of the seconds hand. I just don't how expensive is this watch in the Philippines. I have already decided yo have this watch, beacuse no matter how I love the Seikos, They can't give me things I mentioned above. Thanks!

Nice review like always.. even on your holiday :) You are right that this watch is overhyped. Recently stumbled upon a Vostok Amphibian Neptune 960758 green version. Could be a good alternative... though the lugs on the case is a dissapointment. Anyway, have fun Bruce! Enjoy the rest of your vacation! Bull's eye!

Would like to see white or blue dial with Arabics. Been strongly considering but will probably keep saving. I have my mind currently on JLC Polaris blue dial.....but that could change in a week lol. A’jinglin’ and’a janglin’

It's all nice and such, but I hate large crowns in an automatic watch. I'ts kind of ok to have a big crown in a handwind, but there's not much need for a big crown in an automatic.

The spacing on the numerals from 7 to 8 is kinda annoying.

I guess in principle any popular watch could be argued to be over hyped. Like yourself I buy Rolex and you cannot get more excessively hyped and overrated as Rolex. Sinn make solid pieces, it is the engineering part being paid for and the technologies that Sinn add to make a watch as solid as possible in the environment it was created for. Like Rolex used to be I guess before they became a fashion brand. Albeit a luxury fashion brand, a fashion brand nonetheless.

Most men already know that it’s called metallic green but to each their own. Yes I did hear you say the word metallic once. 🤨🙄

Bass boat paint bro…..the bass boat edition.

I really like it, my favorite is the blue dial without arabics. However, I find them way overpriced for a plain Sellita powered watch. Sellita movements are very cheap (when bought in bulk) and with their lack of history they aren’t really any better than the other clones like Seagull, Hangzou or STP. At least with ETA there was the originality (they made it), their history, and from what I saw the finishes on the parts are a hair better with the ETA. So when you have a watch like this one, for $1500, the value is $1400 for the watch and $100 for the movement. And when I handle it, I didn’t thought it worth that price to be honest. Now Sinn has quite a lot of amazing technologies but none of those are present in this watch. So the 104 for me is and will be a very good watch but not a good value which is unfortunate.
