Rolex is not about a Watch it is status symbol for show off, I have Rolex and Seiko Automatic. Seiko keeps better time and it is much more handsome. Rolex appearance sucks. It's old 1940s design.
Very cool watch! Love the last 20 seconds of the video where you two show just how geeked out we all can get when we see something so cool. Well done fellas!
I realy wanted to buy an omega, but its too expensive, for they have to give mkre for less,kf they want new customer, thay have to stop to copy the rolex price
Nice but too expensive, for me omega have to give more for less,i dont know why they insist to copy rolex price? Rolex sell more of 1million watches each year when omega will dream in selling like them, but if they want to sell more they have to be more afordable because if yiu can buy a rolex for the price of an omega what will you choose?
so nobody can make a yellow, red, or green dial ever again without copying Rolex 😆 if the whole design wasn't exact.... then I would say let them do it hahah. Some of the other watches mentioned is a little bit of a stretch.... But Zenith dropped the ball here.
My only issue with this specific color of Seiko is that the hands, logo, and writings are gold, while the rest of the watch is silver. Aesthetically, it would look better if there were some gold accents on the watch body and strap to create a more cohesive design.
A lot of people on here are talking about Omega sticking it to Rolex. I'm tossing up buying either this or a Rolex Challenge. (I'll wear either one. I'm 6'8, with an 8" wrist, and I used to dive in 3rd co of the French Foreign Legion paras). My problem with the Omega is if I sell it in a few years, I'll get half what I paid for it. The Rolex was offered at 25k, and good luck if you can find a used one for under 45k. Essentially, I'm being paid to wear the Rolex and I'm paying to wear the Omega.
I think this is a beautiful watch and in a few years may even be collectable depending on how many they make. However, if I was to buy one and only one it would be the black. Not for resale or collectability, just for the resemblance or the original. I just purchased the the sapphire 3861 with the new clasp and I love it. I know it is not the Hesalite version, but I thought that the sapphire for me would be more resistance to scratches and that polished links give it that modern day pop. However, If I was to buy another one it would be the white. It is a beautiful watch.
