Sioux Falls is the hidden gem of the Midwest. My company (Dakota Tech inc.) stays very busy helping people & businesses troubleshoot technology issues here. Sioux Falls is rated #1 in the nation to set up both a business or trust. The city has massive potential for growth in the next few decades. We have 2 massive hospitals headquartered here as well as an Amazon city. Exciting stuff!
I lived in SF for 30 years…it is a beautiful place and many things to see/visit 😀. The Falls may seem boring to some, but I loved to walk my dogs there or just read a book while listening to the Falls rush!

Sioux Falls has some smaller options that may be different, and may be food stores, health food and supplement stores or restaurants, but also may have some similarities, including but not limited to the Sioux Falls Food Coop, farmer’s markets and organic fruit trucks certain times of the year, Pomegranate Market, Natural Grocers, Wayne and Mary’s, Newtrition 4 U, Be Right Bites, Wave 26 Nutrition, Science Nutrition, Olive Destination inc., Agua Fresh, Hy-Vee’s Health Market section, Fe Iron Core organic shop, Herbs4You herbalist and Daily Clean Food and Drink. There are also other stores, restaurants and supplement stores, including some that have food from several other countries.
I did a road trip there by myself from Kansas City, Missouri during fall 2020. It was a little weird lol, but I would go back. I would make sure I’m seeing the nature more than the city
@@sdeedenzacker People will randomly wave at you, say hello, open doors for you, let you on to the street in front of them in traffic. They may stop and change a tire for you. Seems weird to me.
I guess I never realized people think sioux falls is special because it’s so normal for me. I grew up there. Now that I think about it we do have a quite a bit of cool things. My personal favorite (I’ve been going there since I was 5) is wild water west. Also even though I’ve lived here for my entire life I don’t even know what the huge white slide is called! Everyone calls it the white angel but that’s not the real name. Also great bear is so fun! I learned how to ski there.
My home IS a great place - and getting greater all the time!! Please don't turn us into another Minneapolis though. Stay rugged, stay legit, stay Dakota, and it's all good.
We just visited there for the first time a few days ago and made some RU-vid videos as well on our channel. It's a cool place. But the outskirts had some really weird people. Seem like lots of drug addicts in a certain area. We are happy and found the downtown area and then falls Park. It definitely very cool place
@Warschach a video recorded a few places down there but I did not record the crazy people we saw prior. I guess it has its good neighborhoods and bad parts just like many other places. I don't think you'd have anything to worry about. It's a nice area overall.
I went to wild water west today. I wanted to go down the red and purple one but the line was SUPER long. But yeah i think Sioux falls is pretty fun. There are alot of things to do considering I live there. Great bear is really fun. OMG and Falls park. Its fun. The zoo- We just opened a lion thing so we have lions now. OOOOOOO THE BATTLE SHIP! Its fun to see. When we drive you’ll see it ALL the time. Back In 5th grade we freaking went to the old court house and stayed for two hours. I fell asleep atleast- 5 times. The Buffalo ridge is actually creepy. Like- The bar they have. Its creepy. But yeah- Living there really isnt bad. Just not many things
You forgot Costco, almost everyone at some time or many times a month visit and shop Costco in Sioux Falls. It's a must do visit for most people when they come to Sioux Falls. It's the only Costco in South Dakota. Sad but true, these are facts.
Im right next in Minnesota in the twin cities but I never realized how small of a population Sioux Falls has. The metro area here has like 3 million people, I’d prob cry if it was 180K 😭
When they open up the borders here in Western Australia, I was thinking of doing a road trip to North Dakota. Have you done a video on that state? Cheer's
I’m not saying there is anything wrong with North Dakota but I was curious as to why you’d want to go there when there are much better places to go all over the USA, depending on your interest, of course.
I live in Sioux Falls. The best time to move would be in the Autumn. As for apartment tours... There are new apartments opening every year at ever corner of the city, and it would be difficult to list them all.
@@jacobkleinsasser5658 i plan to relocate Sioux falls ,i don't if I need to come to visit first or just move on.i don't worry because I am myself.no charge.
Soooo you definitely hit most of the highlights, but have you actually been here? Buffalo ridge is just.... There's a reason nobody goes to buffalo ridge. It's a failed tourist trap that has no legitimate history and never took off 😅 You totally missed the Arc of Dreams, Cherapa Place, the sculpture walk throughout all of downtown. So many things that would be better choices than buffalo ridge 😅
