@896t5 You know full well the joke was on Liverpool that game don't pretend anything otherwise. The League was already won to the point we ManUtd fans thought it would've been hilarious to lose and hopefully by that sort of scoreline and they did the double over ManUtd & Chelsea that season which was extremely rare Liverpool had only won 1 & lost 10 of the last 12 PL games vs ManUtd before this season but they lose the title because they couldn't beat newly promoted Stoke home or away, couldn't beat Hull at home & lost to relegated Middlesbrough while ManUtd as expected won all those fixtures and deserved the title they played 64 games that season & lost very few of them they could afford the Liverpool defeat and you always felt ManUtd were toying with them with that, they were just making Liverpool believe for longer but were always in charge of when they title was won it just made Liverpool kick themselves a bit more which was funny.

Pep deserves credit but his career would be the equivalent of driving for best teams in F1 every season. Although it may seem that way, Man Utd were not the biggest spenders in the 90's either.

Ferguson had full control of the club until the day he retired. For example transfers and player contracts was done under his watchful eye and was well assisted under David Gill. Since then its been clueless business men making the football decisions such as Matt Judge and Ed Woodward.

And rightly so. The man was a legend for this rant. The deluded man utd fanbase and people scared of what it would uncover ridiculed benitez. The easiest sign that they were guilty. The man was corrupt and everybody just brushed it under the carpet
