Sir Mark Cavendish needs no introduction here - as he battles for his 35th stage win at the 2024 Tour de France (though the irony of watching a very sick looking Cav battle through the first stage as I write this is not lost on me...), Cav is the finest sprinter of all time - and in this video we ride his `11 HTC team bike!
2011 was a stella year for Cavendish - wins at Schelderpijs, Tour of Britain, multiple stages at the Giro the 5 stages and the Green jersey at the Tour De France, followed by an epic win at the World Championships - its hard to imagine a finer year - then his HTC team collapsed around him - soooooo pro cycling.....
In this video we ride Mark Cavendish`s all conquering Specialized McClaren Venge - who cares its a bit small for me - its just plain awesome!
Cav for at least one more stage win....
***NOTE - Cav is the king - stage win no.35 just taken in some style - he was just the fasted sprinter in the bunch and then some.... pretty sure we`ll see several more stages - yessss.....
