Thursday 14th March 2024 took a trip to Manchester Victoria railway station to catch Sir nigel Gresley and britannia arriving on there way to the east lancs railway for there legends of steam weekend
was also able to be invited down to Barton St sheds to watch them being prepared for the legend of steam weekend

Great footage - thanks for sharing. You don't realise how big these engines are until you see them next to the little saddle tank.

Hi I wish I had my rail spec jacket with me on Thursday afternoon as I have a network rail track side cert and could have gone on shed with you instead of just filming with my tripod. You got some great shed pictures.

WOW, I’ve really enjoyed this video 👍👍 Seeing a mixer of giants of steam is just so fantastic. I wish City of Wells was in steam for this weekend as that would be super exciting to see with the Britannia, A4 & Jubilee.
