This is why I always try and watch players that are just learning the game. I used to play league more often than dota because none of my friends would play dota. Because of this I follow quite a few league players on twitch and any time I ever see them playing dota for whatever reason I instantly tune in even if I haven't watched them in years. It really helps you re-center on what made you love the game in the first place.

slacks was easily one of the best coaching sessions for grubby. If anything, although he brought it to the extreme with the clarities and maxing Q first, he taught grubby the most basic concept of playing a 5 support. To harass the enemy and take pressure off of your carry. Coaches like purge, and other pros will just overwhelm him with useless information grubby can't process with his current game knowledge yet. So many low mmr support are obsessed with stuff like blocking camps, dewarding camps, pulling and stuff. Yes, those things are good to do when you need to help the creep equilibirum closer for your carry, and get solo xp for yourself. But none of that matters if you can't even take pressure off of your carry and give him a somewhat comfortable time.

So did I. I even thought that there is a chance Grubby wouldn’t upload this game because he was basically a halfwit to Slacks’ teachings (just this game, he’s still an okay learner). Because Grubby had already posted the vid with S4 on YT beforehand even though S4 came after Slacks in real time
