Sirui is adding two more lenses to their full frame anamorphic line up. The 35mm and 100mm are way more interesting focal lengths in terms of creative choices. They push the boundaries of both wide and long anamorphics - which I really like.

Great video as always Tito! I personally don't mind that it's only T2.9. That's a plenty fast aperture on full frame in my experience. Certainly would not complain if the aperture could go wider though.

I would like to see an in-depth discussion about the pros & cons of using Sirui's full-frame anamorphic lenses and their APS-C lenses on a full-frame camera like the Sony A7IV. The price is significantly different, but both "work," so I feel like it warrants a discussion, and you would be a great person to head said discussion!

These are pretty cool, I think I will be saving for the new Atlas Mercury lenses though. Similar squeeze and coverage, but with faster apertures and PL mount.

Lots of options and lots of price points so it's a great time to experiment with anamorphic film making. There is still room for anamorfake. Nice review

I have a Leitz 35mm f3.5 with Leica thread mount and that lens almost has a large format look wide open. Absolutely gorgeous waterfall bokeh. So it’s not just that the 35mm is T2.9 or anamorphic but it’s also not been designed for maximum character.
