Great movie! A little spoiler heavy review (Gregor double cross) but I'm glad they liked it. Though it's hard seeing Gene here, he is clearly very sick. But he kept doing what he loved up until the very end. RIP to these two legends.
I love this movie. This movie has third best car chase of all time. (Only the French Connection and Bullitt are better. ) The cast is terrific and the movie is very fast pace.
Ronin was the last of good old school cold war spy type of movies. They don't make them as they used to. They had action and chase but it was not CGI and childish. It was partially grounded in reality, characters were not superheroes. After this came those stupid Bourne movies and ruin it all.
