This episode is dated October 25, 1997. 14:44 _Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997)_ is shown to be new on video (with two thumbs up). It opened May 2, 1997 suggesting it was released on home video 5 1/2 months after the theater. These days movies go to paid online viewing very quickly and no-added-charge streaming not much later, that I'd wondered what the wait time for rentals used to be. I think they need to delay the latter if they want more butts in theaters.
