Danny Boyle once said that Holly Hunter was the most difficult person he had ever worked with.

I like *A Life Less Ordinary* and *Gattaca* is a science fiction masterpiece, one of my top 10 sci-fi films of all time

Uma Thurman was also in Batman and Robin the same year she did Gattaca. Also Cameron Daiz was also in My Best Friend's Wedding and Head Above Water when she did A Life Less Ordinary in 1997 as well.

The reason the two angels become work for the father is to stop anyone else from doing it and potentially splitting the two mains apart. They're putting on an act to make sure the McGreggor and Diaz fall in love, putting them in peril to bring them closer together. How they didn't get that is beyond me. A Life Less Ordinary isn't a perfect film, but it makes sense.

It's amazing how many thumbs up they give to movies time has forgotten and thumbs down to classics now 😂😂😂

Gene really dumped on House of Yes and the Jackie-O character. Maybe he didn't realize this was a play originally and that was part of it. Yes, Roger mentioned it was based on a play but that may have been the first time Gene heard about that.

I wonder if Gore Vidal ever found out that Gattaca was considered one of the greatest pro-conservative films by National Review, LOL !

Just because the future proposed in the movie is a conservative one doesn’t mean that the movie itself promotes that. In fact the hero is resistant to the conservatism around him. Most conservatives are bad at reviewing films because they see what they want rather than what is presented.
