She’s been famous in Norway for as long as I can remember she’s more of a Norwegian artist then international, her name is sissel kyrkjebø and she’s been singing on and off with a few hits over the years here
Because so many people don't respect Instrumental music. When I got the Titanic CD recently, my brother-in-law mentioned Celine and that annoyed me because I couldn't care less about "My Heart Will Go On". I bought it specifically for the beautiful score, but everyone else only pays attention to the stupid song
@@batman-robin-soundtrackso it has to be both ,but they put more emphasis on the performer than the soundtrack and it doesn't mean that a bad sound track would make the song go well
@@batman-robin-soundtrackso when you listen to a song , you put only music ? Of course there also has to be the singing and people know the song because of the voice of the singer
I always thought if the Titanic was a person, this is how she would have sang.... Thank you, Sissel, for the gift of your voice. It is a piece of Heaven on earth 🌹
@@user-lw5ct5jt9pThat's not a flute. It's only her voice sounding like a flute.Humans can mimic that sound if you are just gifted with that kind of voice. Her voice can stand alone without any instruments.
This voice makes me feel bittersweet nostalgia from a time I wasn’t even born Just because I felt the same as the other person doesn’t mean I’m copying them now am I 🤨 some of y’all act as if we can’t feel the same 💀
Titanic is the greatest love story in this history. All the tunes and songs are so mesmerizing in this film. It's one of the legendary movies of my life. ❤
It’s been 25 years since the movie was released. And I can still remember the first time I listened to this music. A one of a kind movie like this hadn’t been made in a long time. The movie had never been shown yet. James Cameron’s Titanic was called the movie of everybody’s dreams. And when it came out, it was…it really was…
No, : Woohoheooooooo...hieouhooheehuooohiiiioiii...hweeeeehweuuuhwuuuuuuuuhueeeeeeeeehueoooooooo...woooheeehieeeeee..heiiiihouuuuhoooooo...heeeehiiiiheiiiiihooohueeehi-he-huuuuuuu..hueh.
Watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. You'll know how right you are 😂. Honestly, people think that mermaids and sirens sing better than all humans, but they don't realise the incredible vocal capacity of humans. There have been vocalists who can hypnotise you with their singing better than a Siren can.
This is what I imagine the Titanic to sound like if it could have sung as it mourned those who died with her. Haunting, tragic and beautiful at the same. Very talented.
@@ishitagupta5959 bro I don't hate you but don't say that kind of stuff. Repent on your sins before it might be too late for you. God loves you bro! God bless you!
The raw beauty of this will never stop sending chills down your spine. As good as Celine's title track is, this here (and Sissel's stunning contribution to the entire film) connects infinitely more on an emotional level with the listener...contributing infinitely more to the film.
I didn't know that was a human voice until I saw these videos of her. Sissel's voice is a Beautifully haunting sound that is other-worldly and hypnotic. Listening to her feels like you're ascending into higher dimensions of reality.
@Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin she isn't, and she's right. It *does* make me *cringe* everytime I see this 'would of', 'could of' thing anywhere... like duh!
I most love this music among all the theme songs of the movie. Because this was used in the ending scene, starts from the wreckage and then to the smiling passengers up to Jack standing on the stairs. A bittersweet scene plus this music as a background.
This song is perhaps the most tragically beautiful hymn to sorrow & grief that cinema ever produced. Decades later and it still echoes in my head often. Truly a superb piece of timeless music.
Regina George girllll how do you name yourself Regina George and not know that I’m referencing to mean girls 😂😂😂 day f you’ve ever watched mean girls you would hear Regina say “your pretty” and when Katie said “thank you” Regina said “ so you agree you think your pretty” but it’s all good
Easily the most moving piece of recorded art ever created. Thinking of the tragedy of the titanic and the innocent little ones and families that were killed is so heartbreaking.
This heavenly music plays on a gloomy cold day. Funeral is being held on a large ship. People gather round. Your body is then thrown into the ocean by some old lady, just like the necklace was. Music continues. Everyone claps.
"You're gonna get out of here, you're gonna go on and you're gonna make lots of babies and you're gonna watch them grow. You're gonna die an old, an old lady warm in her bed. Not here, not this night, not like this" - Jack
I thought it was Celine the entire time!!! I never knew, now that I knew I feel bad for not giving her enough credit to sound so Heavenly Angelic to my ears, heart, and soul
I was a super nerd in middle school (1997-1999) who read the liner notes of the CD. Haha! James Horner did this same vocal technique of melody singing also, for the Apollo 13 soundtrack (which was before Titanic) with Annie Lennox.
Oh my God! Since I was little girl, Titanic soundtrack, Sissels and Celines voice would and still hits me with thousand of emotions and I just start to cry. I really can say that I sort of have a connection with movie Titanic, this soundtrack and real Titanic. There is always some weird love towards something in one's life, its just unexplainable.
