I'm from the south (the Carolinas) and we don't eat our turn'ips with raw onions and tomatoes. WTF? "If" we were to add onion, we drop it in the pot to add to it's flavor. And we drop that smoke turkey in it to and let that meat boil with dem greens (really , we use a variety of pork meats like cured ham cubes, or pig tails, or smoke jaw bacon, or fatback...if anyone knows what all these meats are, you know you're country LOL). And you know you're from the Carolinas if you put pepper vinegar in your greens!

No stems that's not real cooking. You boil your stems with an onion a green pepper a fresh tomato and garlic and when them stems get tender, add your greens. Now that's the good eating

Need some hot water cornbread. Would make sense to stew the greens with smoked turkey, hot peppers, hint of apple cider vinegar. Broth is not needed. The smoked turkey will makes it's own. Some sugar to balance the bitter of the actual turnips and turnip greens. I throw a few stems in, for texture. Personally, collards and kale are better. Less bitter and more texture. Longer cooking but worth the wait.

No just wrong 1st boil some ham hocks 2nd pot boil salted fat back drain water fry fat back + the greens fry a while then add to ham hock season cook till tender & red pepper flakes+ a pinch of sugar southern greens

I don't want to take anyone's money away from them but if I were running the network, Trina would be gone!! she is simply all wrong for this show or maybe she's just having a bad day during this particular day of taping? In any case ,if I were Trina I wouldn't buy anything new based on my sister Circle paycheck if you know what I mean?

wow! the chunks of turkey meat are large. They should have the turkey meat chopped in smaller pieces. Turnips greens are to bitter for me.
