Plus no one knows Torrei Hart by her maiden name. And some people don't want to go thru the hassle of changing their name back after having their married one for almost a decade.

because that's her kids last name. Most women keep their last name after divorce especially when kids are involved.

It’s not that, it’s girls are more curious and they tend to be more assertive then boys. They also literally copy their mothers to the point you have to break that so they don’t grow up to fast or they don’t have their own personality. Girls are very dominant and controlling even to their brothers. Boys don’t have these traits or show them until they are older or are the only child!

@@87883 You are making a lot of unfounded generalizations in your post. Girls are more curious and assertive? No they aren't......I wasn't.....If' that's the case why are boys more promiscuous? Always collecting conquests even from young teenage years? This doesn't apply to all boys but MANY......Curiosity and assertiveness depend more on personality type and not gender. In my experience boys are not treated as harshly by mothers as daughters ..that's just true and unfortunately I think it has more to do with jealousy insecurity and needing to prove who is in control than what is best for the daughters. I believe it is the same way with fathers and sons.....fathers always trying to prove their dominance by being jealous and competitive instead of loving and supportive. It's really detrimental In what society do you live? Because in the one in which I exist boys are very dominant and overtly aggressive and their mothers rarely ever hold them accountable.......Why do you think the saying is ""Boys will be boys". and not "Girls will be girls". Females' behavior has generally always been more heavily regulated and judged than boys without cause or reason in my opinion. Girls get a really bad reputation all because of other women (even their mother's) insecurity and it's unfair

@@trinigrl09 being curious and assertive is not a bad thing nor does it have anything to do with sexuality! You are one of many! I actually have a son and a daughter and work in child care I see and witness the difference! Boys nor girls should be treated harshly but raised with love and proper guidance! Girls and boys are different and that’s a fact! I believe all cultures need to revisit and revise their approach to both genders so they compliment each other better in society! Also a bad parent is a bad parent no matter how you spin that narrative! I can say with out a shadow of doubt that in the American culture and upbringing most children are raised by media and only shelter by most parents this only will cause the conflict of a lot of mothers being overly emotional with their daughters! However daughters are more work for mothers because they literally have to teach them how to become women for the next generation while mothers can not teach sons how to be men because most women do not understand nor relate to men and their mannerisms. This may appear as harsh to you, I agree a better approach should be taken as I do with mines and she looks up to me she tells me all the time she loves spending time with me and we actually talk quite often and she is only eight years old. With that being said the mother in the video whom has a whole different life then myself has to deal with allowing more people in her child’s life to raise her(co-parenting) this may cause a lot of conflict because those children literally have two sets of values with two separate households! In one has she may or may not have a bed time and another he may be allowed to date or hang out with friends later. The step mother may be more lenient with a certain set of rules then the mother. This will cause issues and favoritism! Girls tend to catch on faster and develop differently from boys so a mothers approach will be different! However all this said I do not condone in abuse mentally or physically on any child and anyone that does should be locked away! I just acknowledge things and others situations. Also I have a wonderful relationship with my mother as far as how she treated me growing up I was very much loved and well kept and protected! I was and am very close to my mother as she was with her own,my grandmother before she passed.

@@87883 I didn't say it was exclusively related to sexuality It can however make people more willing to experiment sexually and I believe it has had this affect on a lot of men.....they seem to be always curious about other women even if they have a wonderful partner already.......that was my point......It's almost as if boys/men get bored and want to move on to the next.....which creates or can create promiscuity in men....that was my point. My mother showed favoritism toward my sister...... Lastly, I am an American child and I wasn't raised by the media.....Again you are making generalizations that are too broad. How can you say beyond any "shadow of a doubt" American children are raised by the media? You are not familiar with every child in America so at least have the decency to modify your statement with the word "many" to account for those children that aren't raised by the media. If you say being curious and assertive isn't a bad thing then why did you use it as justification for being stricter or harsher on girls than on boys? Boys and girls are different in some ways but that doesn't mean boys should not be held accountable in the same way girls are held accountable, it's about fairness. And if you look at society that isn't the case...People use many things as an excuse, including culture, and I believe that is wrong...I also do not believe that mothers can't teach sons how to be men......all parents need to do is teach their children how to respect all people and treat others the way they would want others to treat them....For example, if you wouldn't want to be cheated on don't cheat on your partner if you don't want to be hit by your partner don't hit him or her etc......it's about mutual respect.....you don't need to be of any particular gender to teach that effectively or properly.

@@87883 And also, I didn't copy my mother so that is another assumption that is false women/mothers need to stop being so ready and willing to assume the worst in their daughters....My mother experimented with drugs and alcohol, I didn't.......My mother got kicked out of college for not attending classes....I didn't...I made the dean's list and graduated with honors. It's stupid and unfair to assume your daughters are going to end up just like you if you were wild in your youth. Your daughters are not YOU they are their own people....stop projecting your mistakes and faults onto them.....it isn't fair to them at all and it causes resentment.

That's a wild accusation. You do know that she used to write all Kevin's material right? She wrote all the material for his first handful of specials. It's well documented in their divorce & he openly admits she molded his career. She was a comedian before she met him & put her career on hold to help his.
