The fact the 911 operator asked that woman to ask the killer if he wanted to talk to them and putting him in close contact with this woman is just crazy. I would have never opened my door.
Yes, that struck me as really not a good thing to do & so calmly as if they had witnessed a minor offense such as a stolen bicycle had been seen or something ...not answering their door after someone killed another with a hammer !! 😱
Umm...that woman who called 911 had put herself in close contact with him. She opened her door to him and even offered him something to drink. She was already in close contact with him before 911 had even been called.
That 911 operator should be fired immediately. I had to back it up to listen again to make sure I heard it correctly. Sure, let the killer in the house to use your phone and maybe offer him milk and cookies while you're at it. Unbelievable!
When he tells the cops that his mother had been the best mother and basically reassures them that she did nothing wrong for him to do this, that shit shook me to my core.
The best current estimate is that just less than 1% of all noninstitutionalized males age 18 and over are psychopaths.1 This translates to approximately 1,150,000 adult males who would meet the criteria for psychopathy in the United States today. Psychopaths are twenty to twenty-five times more likely than non-psychopaths to be in prison, four to eight times more likely to violently recidivate compared to non-psychopaths, and are resistant to most forms of treatment. So while yes, it is not likely, there will always be a number of active preditors on the loose at all times.
@Danimalsfan more common than you think. Seriously. You think anyone who was murdered thought the same as you ?? I bet they ALL did, "it'd never happen to me", "not in my town it's so nice", "not my son" !! Wake up
It's actually common among psychopathic killers and serial killers since the detectives probably studied it at some point they weren't surprised that he did, it's text book killer really. That and there isn't anything to be gained from him detailing how and why he had sex with her corpse it isn't a therapy session, they focused on making him admit that he isn't insane so he can't plead insanity and suggest his own sentence, once he did all that they wrapped it up within a minute.
Right! My thoughts exactly it was almost like they ignored it and the voice over guy didn’t mention it either. So extremely weird and horrifying. And the damn detective telling him he respects him and shaking his hand, WTF!
honestly this is the least shocking part to me. I unfortunately live in this shithole city and the 911 operators are mostly complete idiots. have called them for a large tractor tire in the middle of the highway on a blind curve before and they told me that "wasn’t an emergency" and "not their problem to deal with." literally 5 minutes later there was a MASSIVE car wreck there. I routinely have to call the cops because people are randomly shooting their guns around, like emptying magazines and stuff and they will ask me what the people look like and can I see outside and ask for more details. this has happened almost every time I have called for that. I'm not going outside, I'm laying flat on my living room floor, like are you serious? the ONLY place I've lived where the 911 operators literally NEVER advise you on your own safety. have been asked repeatedly for more information or to approach people overdosing on drugs in public which is pretty regular to happen here. had to explain where a major, very basic, everyone knows where it is intersection to a 911 operator. I mean.... look it up? isnt that your job? honestly this crime is the perfect thing to be well known for happening in corpus. this place is disgusting, backwards, shit education, literally half the town smells like sewage and probably 60% of residents couldn't find their way out of a wet paper bag even if they were being paid to do so.
I don't think she bursted into tears like that because the brother did it. But because they asked her when she last saw her mom, which probably made her realize she'll never see her mom again
no she knew her mother had died before she came into the room, she cried and was angry because it was her brother who did it, if she was just sad she wouldnt bang the table
Its like the depression phase in grieve, where it sinks in for civilians. Most people know the line from media and officials are trained to say it, when something really bad happened to someone they know and there is no doubt about it anymore that someone is dead.
@@taeguthrie4890 I'm truly sorry that happened to you ❤One of my uncles died very suddenly and completely unexpected. I will never forget my aunt, his wife, speaking at his funeral. That morning she left for work before him, so she said I love you and they gave each other a kiss. I think that's a beautiful last memory. But I always remind myself and others that the last interaction is not the most important one. All the memories you shared with a person are much more important than the last thing they said or did. The love and their life is what's most important. Not the very last words or experiences they had. The love and happiness you feel will always be bigger than the sadness. At least, I always think. I'd rather feel the pain of losing someone, than to have never known them at all. I don't know if that can bring a bit of comfort to anyone. But it helps me deal with loss

The whole tone was weird. She’s obviously in shock. I know I watch too many detective shows, but these guys didn’t seem to have any empathy. They didn’t even try to fake it to make her comfortable enough to get helpful answers.
The fact that he said he will kill again and the judge only giving 60 years and not life without parole really shows how screwed up our justice system really is.
Yeah the system is screwed. For many things they give ridiculous sentences for things that dont deserve it, and in other scenarios like this they give sentences that are not harsh enough.
It makes me angry how the detectives treated the sister worse than the actual murderer. They showed zero sympathy to her but shook the hand of the murderer and showered him with compliments even though he had confessed EVERYTHING already…
I have been looking for anyone else that picked up on that too... I get when they're trying to extract info from someone they need to build rapport but the confession was done. Why go that extra mile and thank him and shake his hand. I just don't get it...
It was pretty gross when he shook his hand, the irony is that the murderer looked a little weirded out too, like he was thinking "I just told you the most disgusting crime, why are you lowkey congratulating me"
“I lost my virginity to a corpse” this sentence really got me. It’s already terrifying and disturbing on the surface, but knowing the context is even worse. Knowing he murdered his own mother, then raped her dead body is sickening, as well as the way he said it like he was bragging is all just nauseating.
He wanted to feel something. It's a crazy thing he did but if you're ever *actually* depressed, you'll understand why he did it. Not necessarily the acts he did, but why someone would do things that seem so illogical and extreme. I hope you never reach that point in your life though. It's the worst condition to have. It's better to be sad than to be nothing.
@@ethanrandall3005 no, being depressed will never ever make me or most understand why he did it an trust me, depression is far from the worst conditon to have
@@ethanrandall3005dude, what the fuck are you even saying. I've been severely suicidal, attempted a few times. What an actually absurd and wild fucking comment, you should do some soul searching my dude.
But who DIDNT lose it to a corpse? I mean whats the big deal? Not like it's a crime and nobody gets hurt anyway. What's that? Oh ..... I better shut up now! Lol
Thats ridiculous. There is no statistic that shows that. We dont know how long they waited the second call could have been 10 minutes later and they got there in 12 minutes.. Then we dont know they might live somewhere the nearest cops are 30 minutes away. The funny thing to me is how so many commenters want to nick pick the cops after listening to this horrific story. I see it on every video.

Ive never and I mean never been more disgusted and absolutely SHOCKED about the fact that he said he lost his virginity to his dead mothers corpse. Absolutely sickening my head hurts too
Murdering your own living mother wasn’t enough, that he also had sexual intercourse with her corpse. I can’t imagine what horror it would have caused Desiree when she found out about that. What a sickening case!
Thank you, I have been going through the comment section with the video paused right after I heard the line of him saying "Oh yeah, and I lost my virginity to a corpse" in that offhanded way. Literally just scrolling with my fucking mouth agape in shock, absolutely astounded that I wasn't seeing that being mentioned in every single comment. I actually had to scroll for a while to find one that mentioned it, I have to think most people just didn't catch that part likely because many don't get that far in the video but yeah, can we talk about that? Jesus fucking Christ. My God. That's just... That's not just someone killing someone from hatred or whatever that's, fuck I don't even know what to say about it. Just think about it this way; you can't lose your virginity like that or have intercourse at all as a man unless you are aroused. So in order for him to do that, assuming he's not just saying that, like I said I am still paused I have been paused since I heard that sentence because of how absolutely shocked I am because I was not even slightly expecting to hear that here, but assuming he was not just adding that on or something, that means that after bashing in his own mother's head 20 times with a fucking hammer which I would never want to see but I can imagine how awful it would be, that he was able to get an erection and aroused enough to do that. With his mother. Honestly I would be less horrified if he had succeeded in merely strangling her, that's still enough that I would have had the same exact reaction I'm having now, but fucking hell.... At least if she was strangled to death he could imagine she was asleep, or something. Fuck. Anyways sorry for the essay, I'm using voice to text on my phone so please forgive any odd out of place words or grammatical errors, I'm too impatient to edit it because it takes too long. Hopefully you all get the gist of what I was saying
My uncle killed my grandmother..... And when I told my mom grandma was gone, the way she screamed will never leave my ears. I feel for this woman. Its one thing to lose your mom to violence, it's a whole different type of pain when the person who inflicted that violence was your literal flesh and blood. I hope she finds strength and support. I just want to hug her
When I was eight, I found my grandmother after she was murdered. The main suspect was my grandfather but the police fucked up the crime scene to the point that none of the physical evidence was admissible so pretty much every piece of evidence was thrown out. The police eventually tried to pin it on my uncle to cover up their shitty work and close the case. My uncle had an alibi and witnesses during the time the murder took place but the police hounded him until he killed himself at the age of twenty six. We cut ties with my grandfather and he drank himself to death a few years later.

The way the police and 911 operator handled this was incredibly unsafe and ridiculous. Asking her to make direct, prolonged contact with a brutal killer by giving him the phone, and the police for not even showing up until after the second call.
This once happend to me in california. Some meth addict was kicking my door in Long beach. I got my Banelli pump action shotgun and pointed it at the door and called 911. 20-25+ minutes later, still no cops. It wasn't till i called them again and told them that I had a shotgun pointed at the door and would blast anything on the other side if it opens that they quickly came. The police are a total friggen joke. They'll come just in time to discover your murdered corpse.
This happened to me when I was 16. My mother attempted to murder my father, and the police hung up on me; called me back, and then made me hand the phone to my mother. My dad nearly died of blood loss because the ambulance took so long to dispatch, since they hung up on my first call. The last thing I wanted, was to be even 10 feet away from her in that moment. Small town run police are especially negligent.
You people were the same ones whining in the last video I watched on this channel about the detectives being "too mean" to the perpetrator. That's the problem with the internet, everyone's a fucking expert.
There's a large cut in the video of an hour after she finds out. Tissues also appears and several have been used. I am betting they cut out a fair bit of crying and comforting. Or maybe I am just being optimistic. They were a bit harsh at the end, but that may just have been them trying to rip the band aid off as they know the newspapers would get hold of the details.
This makes me nervous with my mom and brother. I had to leave because he is a psycho. I tried to bring her with me but she wanted to stay because “he needs help”. He is a 39 year old man who needs mental help. Not mommys help.
its because shes not really shocked. she knew how horrible the mother was and the emotional abuse she put her boy through. bet you 100 bucks she was expecting it low key
I wish people would stop blaming horrible things on ADHD. I have moderate diagnosed ADHD which I take medication for, and I’m still a functional, normal human being without the medication. It’s not a severe mental disorder. It’s not. This dude has other issues.
I think the sister only brought that up to mention that was the only psychological disorder she was aware of. She also mentioned how he was never violent with them necessarily nor threatening, but that he was occasionally a little more difficult to handle.
He was probably misdiagnosed. Things like conduct disorder or FASD can look like ADHD and autism. There's a lot of overlap. More likely he always had conduct disorder or oppositional defiant disorder.
Autism is a spectrum. Adhd is on it. So is ocd,,,intrusive thoughts followed by compulsive actions. Most autistics don't become killers,,, but most killers are autistic. I'm autistic with adhd. My ocd revolves around fears and I am agoraphobic. We don't get to choose our ocd though. It could have been anything. The more we know tge better we can see it ahead of time. Wow. When he first spoke and said "I had always loved my mother....." i got chills. Everything from his tone of voice to the subconscious placement of the emphasis within the words was chilling.
From the way the 911 operator asked the woman to put herself directly in danger, the lack of urgency from the police, and to the way the detectives delivered the news that her mother was dead prior to asking her questions and not allowing her a moment to process, is truly heartbreaking and disgusting. Just adding to the overall atrocity of the crime itself
Yep. Crazy as hell. Imagine calling the police about a stranger outside ur front door, who’s telling u “I jus murdered someone”. And the operator asked to speak to the killer. SMH. So my safety is obviously not important. And to top it all off, the police took so long to arrive she has to call up a second time. Absolutely crazy
@seranakillian1423 I wondered too why the 911 respondent asked to speak to the murderer. Very scary response! Then they get the murderer in(?) or get close enough to offer him their phone(?) a drink(?) For real??!

@@Partyhatpossum So what? Aren''t they suppose to give good advice? They opened the door so they deserve to get hurt? I don't think you should be a 911 dispatcher with that thinking lol
Not the best move, but just listening to the tape without the narration it sounded like the person was already in the house with them. The 911 operator never asked them to go give him the phone they asked "Can I talk with him?" That's a way to let them off the hook either by answering "No, he's outside," or, if he's standing there staring at them with a bloody hammer in his hand, to distract his attention from them to the phone call. To have him acting so casual about the whole thing I doubt the operator was taking it as seriously as they should have.
Hearing somebody give details of a horrific crime they just committed, without emotion and in such an articulate manner is quite fascinating. I have watched a lot of true crimes. Some even showing or explaining things I couldn’t get out of my head. But for some reason, THIS is the one that made me actually get sick. This is absolutely INSANE.
Sorry but there is something very weird about this whole case. How can a family not care about his social welfare? And to having a healthy life. Ie friends? And a girlfriend? Something not right about it all. And then how the sister said she loved this kid? Like he is almost a stranger. That's so odd? I'm not justifying his behaviour. It's sick and unhealthy. And psychopathic. But he seems like was treated like he wasnt normal. So then became so. But why didn't they actually care properly?

It’s ridiculous that the 911 operator seemed oblivious of the extreme danger the caller was in. It’s also inexcusable that police took so long to respond to the call. Between the 911 operator and the slow police response, it’s a miracle that there weren’t more murder victims.

I love how the people who 'dont like living' and 'want to die' ALWAYS end up living, but killing everyone else - usually the ONLY people that cared about them.
Sometimes, down the road, they started feeling anger towards others. Why they live wonderful life while I'm struggling. Honestly it's just egoism, they want others to suffer too. Been there n climbed out
For myself I really don't feel any joy being alive. But I have the unrational fear that my discomfort somehow could potentially trap me in an afterlife constantly in this misery. Probably that is not a common thing given how absolutely unlikely and scientificly absurd that fear is but I think happy people are less scared of dying because they can go saying they lived their life like a normal person does and so their death will be normal and unspecial. I dont understand this life and going into death is the next possibility to get into another state of confusion and being unhappy without a cause. Does this make any sense? i guess not even the slightest
@@user-mj8bg3fw8wit made sense to me. I feel the same. And I’m really sorry to hear you do. I wish I had something helpful to say. But all I can say is I’m in the same boat as you.
Treating a killer with kindness is not only expected and normal- it's also a valuable interrogation technique to build rapport and keep them comfortable so that they're able to disclose as much information as possible. HOWEVER; shaking the hand of a killer at the very end of an interrogation and giving him a genuine compliment by saying "I admire your mind" is flat out bizarre and disgusting. That killer will remember that moment for the rest of his time behind bars. He will see that moment as validating. Especially given the sexism behind his actions/words ("I prefer my women dead"), that handshake from another man validates his sick actions even more.
Both detectives look, talk and interrogate as if they are on the first episode of Law and Order: they smell of 80s, they both are unprofessional, but the bald guy takes the cake. The way he told the sister that "yeah, you were on the list" like she won a prize, or when he asked how the killer would kill the two of them, how he interrupted his colleague - this was cringe to watch. Even if he is toughened by all the things he has seen, he had to at least pretend he cares and have some sympathy for the sister.
Unfortunately, trying to get decent medical care, both physical and mental, is practically impossible. People in the medical field don't care, or take the time to listen to patients or their parents. Takes months to get an appointment & have any issues taken seriously. It's shameful that our physicians & insurance companies just worried about the almighty dollar 💰💰💰💰
I saw this case on Signs of A Psychopath, Kevin Davis showed zero signs of remorse, no empathy, no guilt, no contrition. Even in court he showed zero emotion nor remorse.
@@angryman8779 Parents aren't the scapegoats for their child's issues. Personal accountability is a thing, and the blame game needs to stop (some dads skip out for younger women or "go to get the milk" but the kids turned out just fine). People need to look in the mirror and realize choices are deliberate. Influences come from all over (media, internet, and friends having more sway then family now). He said himself that he had mental issues, but that family (or those close to you) usually refuse to acknowledge (or just in blind denial) their own family member is capable of such atrocities (Its a psychological thing: not believing someone's capable of doing such terrible things because it is against your own nature, comprehension, and reasoning). Therapy is also worthless if the one forced into it doesn't want the help (He reveled in his issues (point when he slept with his mothers' corpse)/he enjoyed festering in his dark thoughts and didn't want help) because he already had nothing else to live for. There are many other true crimes where people are sick in the head and brutally murder their families and admit that it was a fantasy, spur of the moment, or thoughts finally given birth to action....and the family was innocent. Great Examples of Socio/Psycho family murderers: Caroline Young, Amy Bishop, Ronnie O'Neal (very messed up), Tyler Hadley (tragic), Marie Robards (selfish stupidity), Chandler Halderson (one of the worst pathological lazy liars). Check out Boze vs. the World if you want someone to walk you through them, or just do your own research. Sorry for the long reply: doubt people have the attention span to read these now. 😅
@@alondra_missi growing up with one parent makes you 20 times more likely to end up in prison-this is data and statistics. Instead of writing this book (a fiction book, as a matter of fact) you could spend 30 minutes actually researching what data shows about what mommies do to their kids.
There was another awful case covered by the Misery Machine (a case of extreme child Abse & murder) that was by far the most horrifying case I’ve ever seen. Loads worse than this. I have never been so viscerally shocked by any case like I was by that one. I can’t remember what the name of the episode was.. it was truly horrific.
I understand that the detectives might have been trying to put it harshly so she didn’t try to defend him, but holy cow, SOME sympathy would have been nice. That poor girl has been through things that almost no one else has. Them coming out the gate like she had some kind of hand in it was really, really hard to watch. And what was up with the 911 responder telling the couple to walk up to the murderer at their door and put him on the phone? The police are a joke I stg.
I was so so angry watching the one to the right of her. I get that he’s seen it all and is detached in some way but my god there’s no reason to be to rude toward the victims family members. She wasn’t a suspect, he even admitted that he was planning on killing her!
Absolutely. Can they pretend to be human for just a minute? This poor young woman just lost her mother in the most horrendous way imaginable, lost her brother after finding out that he murdered their Mom, has to identify her Mother's badly beaten body, and found out that she, herself, was almost murdered. How much more trauma do they need to put her through just to maybe slightly strengthen their case? They already had forensic evidence, written confessions, a recorded interrogation with a confession..... they didn't need to do this to her. No soul.
@crosisofborg5524 the 911 operator and the bald interrogator are abysmally and objectively incompetent. we all know the world is fucked, but that does not excuse how horrendously this case was handled.
They asked him if if he'd had sex before and he said something like 'you'll think this is digusting' and then talked about the dead grey cat...how dead bodies are just meat...the detectives didn't follow that up and changed the subject. He had sex with the dead cat's flesh!! FFS! 🤮🤮🤮🤮😡🤬👹
Her heartbroken cry is so soul crushing. I can't believe what feelings she must have gone through. I truly wish her the best and that she, and everyone who loved Kimberly Hill can find peace.❤
I think its important for parents to recognize psychopathic tendencies in children. My heart goes out to this poor woman that died in such a tragic way.
@@DeviceAnathemablessed to be unaware you are. Doesn't take someone with a degree to see behaviors that should NOT be displayed by a neurotypical person
I’ve known two kids who were literally born bad. Displayed behaviors early on. Their mothers saw it too. So wether you attach a name to it or not, not all kids are ok. Nor will they grow out of it.
I'm disgusted by these detectives behavior treating this diabolical monster like he only stole a candy bar. His sister was treated like trash by these evil detectives
why in the hell were these guys treating the sister like trash, they informed her that her mother was murdered and then psychologically messed with her like she was afkking suspect. DISGUSTING get them retrained asap!!!!!
They told her what they told her to: 1. Diminish loyalty to her brother (very necessary) 2. Be honest with her (also necessary) 3. Get information (also necessary) This is for her own good.
They also don't know if she had something to do with it. They watched her reaction to their statements- saw she reacted normally, and moved on. Think about the times in these videos that the suspects aren't straightforward and behave oddly. You people are hilarious. The detectives are doing their job.
I’m so glad that so many people are more concerned with being “nice” than being kind…not. Consider that the media will not pull any punches. She might still have the instinct to protect him. We have the benefit of knowing she wasn’t involved at all. Detectives play roles and they have to be really good to lie to liars. Understand that what would be “nice” and “polite” in society, isn’t always what gets the best results in an investigation.
"I was just in a very playful mood at the time" That statement just chilled me to the bone, especially when he laughed a little. That just creeps me out to no end!! I hope they never turn him loose, ever. I feel terrible for his sister and whatever family they keep close to them, and the poor woman's friends and coworkers. It is always heartbreaking when a child kills their parent, even worse when a parent kills their child.
Wtf is WRONG WITH HIM!? He needs to be donated to science and studied this is just so gross and disgusting and insane!!! He “lost his virginity to a corps?!!!” Like HOLY FUCK!
For his sister's sake, I hope he never gets out. He may have a change of feelings and need to finish what he started. I would put money on him doing just that, if he had the chance.
911 dispatchers are wild. Asking the random woman who has a killer on her doorstep to speak to the man or see if he wants to talk on the phone is fucking insane and thats not even the worst thing I've seen them do. Then you have police taking their sweet time to get there. Such bullshit.
In these videos we usually see the interrogations, and hear the story. So much of it is focused on the suspect, and how evil they are. Witnessing the sister hearing that her brother killed their mom BROKE me like none of these ever have.
Me too. It is agonizing to hear that kind of pure sorrow and despair. She lost her mother and sibling in one fell swoop, in two horribly different ways. She showed quite a bit of strength all things considered. I know I would be inconsolable. I really hope she has enough of a support system to have gotten her through that. Humans can be truly selfish.
yea i felt like disclosing that interview with his sister contributed close to nothing but parade some raw emotion. "hey check out this lady's sorrow. eh? eh? cool stuff huh. now gimme clicks"
