That buff talent is beyond nuts. I'd love to hear their reasoning behind making something THAT strong because the rest of her toolkit is pretty powerful as it is.
@Clément Fert As much as I like Fatshark, I feel like it might be the latter in this case. She already has some pretty unique and very powerful abilities (the whole lifting up specials/elites with her staff and all the healing shit).
Fun fact, most cata players dont even use the lvl20 dmg talent, they use the one where you can use your ult more often and they domt use the lvl 30 which gives only dmg. Only dmg hungry Legend cucks use these. Ps the jav is dogshit compared to the staff
on the javelin, the trait that gives 5% ammunition back on criticals shots gives you about 9-10 spear throws under the combat potency buff. Melted monsters like old school blunderbuss huntsman
Atharti's Delight by itself is a huge DPS boost no matter the weapon you are using. Add Morai-Heg's Doomsight to it for guaranteed crits and bleed damage. Overpowered is too kind of a description! I haven't tried the javelin yet, being able to disable specials and armor targets with the staff is too much fun and overpowered in it's own right! Great job Wet!
like this helmet more than from the previous video. also if you use nat bond isha's bounty will be up 100% of the map once you take your first instance of damage. combined with her other passives for gaining temp hp and the 25% increased healing its pretty damn crazy how healthy you can stay. oh and lord help the enemy if a grail knight joins and you get his hp regen on top of that.
Moonfire bow dot stacks with the bleed talent. Bleed weapons stack with the bleed talent. The bleed works with hagbane. Everything seems so overpowered haha. Super fun class.
Ye i saw this when playing around with it and was like "This dps is just not okay" So i decide to use her Staff with Venom trait and do a more controlling the horde type of build, alt fire specials and elites and use sword and dagger for main weapon. So much fun,, so glad she got such a unique fun class when i main shade
I have two builds with Sister of the Thorns one that's basically this, another using the staff and some other talents but does use bloodvenom thicket and it is really strong against monsters if you can get them near them and I think the increased damage stacks though I'm not sure.
Because the wall is fucking annoying for everybody else. I'd rather have a Kerillian kill the entire wave than block me from fighting it. It's way too niche to be consistently useful.
All because of AI just avoiding it. You expect for it to close an entrance and slow someone. But AI sees map differently. So if you left even a slinght hole in textures - they instantly go aroundit, squeezing somewhere you didn't thought off and absolutelly ignoring all "slowment-blocking" effect. IF theyld made it the way so it would be invisible to enemies, so they would stuck in it and try to go through - it would be viable. But now I'd rather have 2 "kill everyone here" buttons.
I think Incandescence is pretty nice (3x Bloodrazor Thickets are pretty strong, especially if you play her in a very caster focused way), but the "vastly increased combat potency" is just stupidly OP, you can delete everything with that... sure Fatshark... "Support Career" xD
Pretty much the build I used with the javelin xD And yes, Blackvenom Thicket sounds fun, but.. by the time it explodes most of the small enemies around are already dead, and monsters are hard to keep in one place anyway. The only downside of the Bloodrazor Thicket is that you can't block warpfire and ratling shots with it.
I play mostly legend idk for cata, but the nerfed Radiant Inheritance is still a must take unless you do a support heavy build with triple walls and stuff... which might make sense for a conflag staff sienna or sum. otherwise full dmg build sister of thorn still performs on a level similar to grail knight
Power creep is real. Fatshark is better to look again at the original careers and weapons when he is done with the DLC ones. If he wants stride even further from Vermintide 1 feel and have Vermintide 2 as a power fantasy (and not to nerf much things like sister of thorns), they are better to buff a bit the old stuff too, to be comparable. SoT is good class, looks good too, but it is so OP.
It also goes up via temp health, but I agree because I have a build with 10-3 that uses natural bond and you're pretty much always at +15% power as long as you are missing some health.
Oh really it got 125 HP that is quite surpriseing considering how much that classe seem to give compare to like handmaden that only give like block or something? good to block I guess.
Legitimately, I don't see a reason to nerf this class. Fatshark, please don't change a thing about Thorn Sister. As Grail Knight was untouched, leave our Druid Momma untouched as well. If we're paying cash for the class, we should be able to have fun with them, right?
But it's only 60 seconds. You can run a level in 15. That's only 15 uses, max. If you land it. If it's for bosses, since when were bosses problems in legendary or above? Everyone and their bots are op anyway?
Smiter will never give you more dmg to monsters than mainstay unless you are doing some hit and run tactic, 40% dmg increase will never beat 60% when fighting a monster.
How are you staggering a monster consistently enough that you get the 60% from mainstay? Smiter gives 20% even when you cannot stagger them at all, which is most of the time.
I don’t think the stagger cc effect and damage effect are the same, so I’m pretty sure the talents make all of your attacks apply “stagger” so mainstay would work on monsters. Though this might just be me being stupid, I blame Fatshark anyways.
i like your comentary- but everythime you say its ‘stupid’ n ‘crazy’ and dumb…all powerful damageand wishing to be nerfed- keep in kind not everyone is a pro player, you want a challenge? play another tree thats more challenging to your play style…
It's not about a challenge, it's about keeping the class in line with the others. If you have one that's WAY stronger than every other then there's only one that everyone is going to want to play. That's all it is.
Nobody on cata would use this build. Staff > jav ... lvl 20 talent much more ult use > dmg boost, lvl 30 talent a wall which can be used in so many ways > just dmg, this is just a build for dmg hungry legend noobs

Exactly, mate! That's also why Shade, BH and Engi are not viable for Cata. I mean, who'd even consider playing a pure dps-oriente... waaait a minute...
