I have been on my amazing Loc / Sisterlocks journey for 1 year! I have fine hair, 4A / 4B type, long hair. This video gives you a little background on my relaxed hair and natural hair journeys, which led me to eventually getting locs. Sharida, your locs are gorgeous! Your hair in its relaxed and loose state was also beautiful 😍. When I was relaxed, I couldn't get it it grow past my shoulders...hopefully by having locs, I'll get to that point and get the length im striving for. Thanks for this video❤❤❤ Also, I'd love to see a video on your experience with your hair transplant 😊

You got a fabulous rate for your locks!! I am also considering coloring my hair since I’ve never done it besides using henna. I might take the plunge and do color for fun on the new journey. I noticed that the longer length does takes longer to show up which is okay with me since I have issues with retention on loose hair! Thank you so much for your advice I can’t wait to see more from you over time! Blessings!

Gorgeous!!! I struggle with a thin hairline. My hair is also fine but low density as well. I’m trying to lower my expectations as far as what my sisterlocks will look like but I am still excited about the upcoming journey. Establishment set to begin September 8th.

No matter how thin your hair is now, the locks will make everything thicken up A LOT...provided your keep additional stress and tension off of it.

@@JoyBunni YES YES YES!!! I ended up with a slightly earlier install date. 8/31. So I am two months in now and loving it. I enjoy watching each lock take on a life of its own. I LOVE not worrying about my hair. I LOVE rocking my own hair and not being ashamed for a change. I can’t wait for the growth and fullness to come in. And my edges are actually recovering. Best decision ever!

I’m in the process (Day 2) of getting microlocs and you are so right. I’m starting with 14 inches of hair and they look beautiful to start!

Advice is just bring your patience! It will seem like forever before you see growth and changes but you will get there. I’m probably going to be 2 or 3 years in before my ends loc. Just enjoy the journey and like they always say…trust the process!

Your loc install price was fabulous. I would kill for that price. I had a consultation and was quoted $1800 dollars. Then she told me to have my hair trimmed before the install. Why would I pay the same price after my trim. Especially if I get inches trimmed off.i am still looking for a good loctician, not a scammer.

Yes, my price was rare lol...considering the high quality of work. I agree that you need to find another consultant...sounds fishy. That will be my next SL video topic...Consultant Red Flags.

My ends have always been the same since first shampoo. I have really had the budding on the ends or anything.

But, I’m in the Midwest, specifically, Indiana, so coming to the ATL is not an option for me to travel there frequently for maintenance. Will you recommend an excellent Loctician for Sisterlocs here in Indiana or nearby? Thank you much!

Watching this makes feel like I was taking advantage of. I was told I had 16” and I had a big head so it would be 2200. Which didn’t seem right for a few reasons. But if that’s the case I’m willing to pay that because I expected her to do a lot of work. But if my head was so big and I really had 16” of hair I’m shocked that it only took her 14.5 hours and I only have a little more that 400 sister locks.

I was actually expecting to pay around 2k...and would have. BUT I don't think it's possible to do that much work, correctly, in 14.5 hours. My consultant works VERY fast and she still took 40 hrs. I hope that you were not taken advantage of and that your locks were installed correctly.
