Don't worry, InSomnia (Dreamcatcher fandom) are very welcoming, even if you are a little late. 😉 And Rock is their signature, you will find it in every title track, more or less. They experiment with different styles in their b-sides. About the story: Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("freak behind the mask" from Scream). Boca has the line "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! About the arrow: Yoohyeon shoots the arrow and is later hit by it, which could be a metaphor for words coming back to bite you. And the guys with the masks are most likely haters hiding behind anonymity (masks).

Most of their rock fans said that this is thier least rock vibe song. So if you love this one bcause of the rock, then I cant imagine how much you love the others bcause they have more rock in it.

oh hey, thanks for giving dreamcatcher a chance, and checking them out! Boca is part 2 of Dystopia Trilogy. Part 1 is Scream. It's all about hate language, bullying, and stuff like that. In Boca mv, the creepy masked people in the streets seems to be haters judging and being evil all around the place. Boca means mouth in spanish, and in the lyrics they are basically saying "if you dont have anything nice to say, then dont say anything, but if you start spreading hate imma shut your mouth myself". I truly love them for this lol You should react to scream next so you would have the 2 parts of the dystopia trilogy covered, then you should go back to their first mv, "chase me" and watch everything in order.... And yes about their sound, all their title tracks have rock influences, but they are all very different from one another, and their bsides are somehow very experimental, they've tried a lot of different genres that no one wowuld see it coming if they only know dreamcatcher because of their title tracks. They have reggae, jazz, r&b, edm, literally everything in their discography and it's amazing how versitile they can be. They are also very strong vocally and simply amazing in dancing. If you interested in dancing you should check out their dance practices as well, their choreographies are insane and they are always so in sync it's crazy. Now about the members: Pink hair girl is Gahyeon. When they debuted, Gahyeon was labeled only as a vocalist, but she has been trying rapping since last year, and it seems it's good fit for her. The other rapper with the darker/deep voice is Dami, she is the main rapper, but also considered to be one of the two lead dancers in the group. She is passionate about composing and arranging songs. She wrote the lyrics for one of their bsides all by herself and helped to write bits of a lot of their music. She also released a special clip of a rap track that was composed and written by her. The girl dancing in the water that looks like a fairy is Sua, she is the main dancer. She used to be a rapper too, but she doesnt seem to like it as much, so she just focused on the vocals instead of rapping. She is considered to be one of the strongest vocals in the group, only behind the main vocal, and the two lead vocals. Oh Sua is passionate about creating choreographies, and some covers and a bside choreo was made by her. The girl in the yellow dress is Jiu, she is the leader, she is also considered a second lead dancer and a second lead vocal. Jiu is also interested in writting and composing. SHe wrote the whole lyrics for one of the songs in this latest mini album, Dear, which was a song dedicated to fans. Siyeon, the girl with the blue bangs and tips is the main vocal and the one who sings the high note at the end. She also has interest in writting and composing. But she never wrote a whole song by herself, however, she helped to write the lyrics for her solo song Paradise, she also helped to compose it, and write lyrics for a couple of other songs with the other members' help. The girl with the arrow, the one with the braids on the first verse is Yoohyeon and she is the lead vocal. She also helped to compose parts of a couple of songs. Oh and about her scene in the mv, she actually shoots herself with the arrow (the girl who gets shot right after, is also yoohyeon). The meaning behind the scene is that the hate words you shoot at some else will always come back at you at some point. Dreamcatcher also has a 7th member, Handong, she is chinese, and she is currently in china. She went there to participate in the chinese survival show Youth With You during Scream era (so she is not present in that mv/comeback either), but due to covid, the recording got delayed and then when the show was over, she couldnt leave china because she had a passaport issued by hubei province (she is from wuhan) and south korea was not allowing people from wuhan inside the country. The ban is over now, and we finally got an official announcement that handong will be going back to korea very soon, so we expect to see OT7 together again :) Handong is labeled to be "only a vocalist" but dont be fooled, her vocals are angelical. She took classes of musical singing and opera before debuting in dreamcatcher, so brace yourselves for amazing vocals lol and that's it! Please, do check out more of their stuff, you absolutely wont regret it :)

Infos about DREAMCATCHER 7 members, 5 of those members was already in a Band named MINX around 2014 they are under happy face entertainment but they changed all of their concepts etc.. Because they got hate of their girly lovely look like twice or other groups. So they debuted around 2017 with two new members. JIU is the Leader, Lead Vocal, Lead Dancer, Visual and Center (the oldest 1994) SUA is the Main Dancer, Lead Rapper, Vocal ( 1994 younger than JIU) SIYEON is the Main Vocal (1995) HANDONG is just a Vocal (1996/ currently in China and can't turn back to Korea so she missed two comebacks ) YOOHYEON is the Lead Vocal, but you can put her as a Main Vocal as well and also you can say or see her as a Lead Dancer but she's the Center of the Group (1997) DAMI is the Main Rapper, Vocal and Lead Dancer (1997) the one with the blue hair GAYHYEON is the Rapper, Vocal and the youngest of the group (1999) the one with the pink hair Fan name is (InSomnia)

To add on to what's already been posted, Scream and Deja Vu are generally the most popular videos people react to as they are generally seem to be the favorites for a lot of people and are videos that can stand alone and blow you away... then they begin the nightmare series. Also, one of my personal favorites is Endless Night, a Japanese single and MV from them. I love watching people react to the sheer magnitude of metal the song has. It's probably their highest level of metal, and yet it has a difficult choreography. Highly recommend.

I would recommend checking out Scream next, since it's the first part to BOCA. Deja Vu and Rose Blue are both stand alone story lines, and can be watched anytime (hopefully Deja Vu soon; it's one of their best songs). The rest of the mvs you want to watch in order from earliest to latest release, since there's a story line. I believe someone already posted a list of all their other mvs. Their B-Sides and covers are absolutely amazing. I've watched a fair amount of people react to them. This is the first time I've ever subbed to a reaction channel though. Have fun discovering Dreamcatcher! I also come from a rock/metal background, and they are currently my favourite artists, against stuff like Metallica, A7X, Five Finger, Falling in Reverse, etc. Their producers are geniuses, you're going to find everything from rock to EDM to R&B on their b-sides. I only know 2 kpop groups and this one is a blessing.

Dreamcatcher is a kpop group that based on Rock/HeavyRock/HardRock/Metal base genre ( basically) but they more than that ( they had semi metal rock base fusion songs , alternative pop, mumbatone,, tropical, reggae, ballad and rnb) , beside all the b sides songs are really good like it was a main tracks and their albums are always a bops and never disappointed us, all of their members can sings and 2 of their members can actually can rap like their actual main rapper, Dami . After the corruption of the Tree of Language (seen in the "Scream" Music video), they try to become water goddesses to purify the tree once again while running from the haters and telling them to "shut their mouths" (boca in Spanish means mouth).

I am surprised nobody touched on this. They may be newer InSomnia. There are actually 7 members. One went off to a contest show in China (Produce 101 China and YG) and she 8s trapped in the country. Her name is HANDONG. Anyway, when COVID came, SK cancelled all work visas. So, being Chinese - from Wuhan! (She was in another province for work, though) - she was trapped. She needs to get a new visa to return to SK. Sadly, SK still is restricting travel from China last I read. Poor HANDONG has missed so much in the past year. But, she did co-star in a video last month in China. Very cool look it up. We miss her so much. Also, pink hair is Gahyeon. She is the Maknae. She turned 21 in February.

Our Universe centres a magical tree that bares black fruit if we speak foul language, but grows white fruit when we use refined words. this is the most underrated korean girl group but at least theyre famous in other countries like the u.s and europe..maybe koreans dont like their style coz its mostly rock and pretty similar to anime soundtracks but i freakin love it..most of their songs/mv's concept are dark and gothic and its so interesting and addictive

Dreamcatcher is a group that after watching the music video..every single music video, you need a smoke afterwards. Seriously check out everything they do, you wont regret it. actually they are 7 in group but Handong didn't back to Korea it's because she's in Wuhan,China for a competition...the competition is already done ( Youth with you or just like produce series something like that )...you can check out some of their mv's.

I feel like their songs are not very typical kpop, but kind of Jpop and One ok rock style.

Literally nobody else has that metal fusion sound like them, their skill levels plus everything else involved with their productions are top-tier, and the whole group is so goddamn wacky that you'll never be bored for two seconds. Oh, and the fandom is great, everyone is super welcoming. Careful if you use headphones, though, Sua and Gaheyon will blow your eardrums out. lol

This song is about people who spreads hate and hide as anonymous in the darkest web and was represented with the mask. There is a line that says "Too many angels dying now, i gonna change your mind" which for me means that they will do something to change this people's mind, of instead spreading hate.

They analyzed both of the videos and it made me see the videos in a total different view. But it's just getting better. They also have a song " Can't get you out of my mind" which is full English.
