"Sisters" stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler go Unscripted, talking about sequel sisters, being interrogated at the gynecologist, and ghostly encounters in New Jersey.
Oh man - I love Tina's immediate, visceral, physical reaction when Amy starts her impression at 3:05! For just 2 or 3 seconds, her persona just drops away, and then she connects back up and joins in again with the "hear your own voice back" bit.
I know both shows have ended, but I would give my right arm for a crossover episode where Liz Lemon and Leslie Knope go on a single bike riding trip and get hurt straight away, and then solve a murder.
I just want to be in their friends circle and hang out with them all the time. Also, if there is ever a show or movie of Liz Lemon and Leslie Knope solving crimes, it would *literally* be the best show ever.
Itai Kahari Do you even know what's going on? The original comment was merely stating that he likes seeing Fey and Poehler together, regardless of the quality of their new movie. There was no criticism there. Now you're talking about Taylor Swift for some reason.
+May Flower yes we did, and Sisters didn't even end up number 2 btw, also people didn't see it in the following weeks, don't blame Star Wars that this flopped. it just had a pretty bad, unfunny trailer, Tina Fey should write her own movies.
+eddy wolfe Well, if we're being brutally honest here, the two movies have different target audiences. I mean, most Star Wars fans probably wouldn't rush to see Sisters anyway.
+Vino sitas Maybe some of them, but it's like when there's, you know, something like Super Bowl on TV, other networks will program something more female oriented, to draw anyone who's not interested in sports. They know they'll lose audience anyway but they have to show something. Star Wars is the same thing, we all know most fans who can't wait to watch it opening weekend are guys.
+Not quite my tempo IKR? If anything it allows them to kind of piggyback off all the starwars hype. Those who wanna go to the movies but isn't really up for starwars.
I personally am not interested in star-wars. I would have loved to rush to the theaters to see Sisters, but because I stay in India I wasn't provided with the option. :(
Imagine if these two comical queens remade an almost paradoxical Thelma and Louise? I can't watch enough of SNL with them. I can't watch enough of Parks and Rec. I've already watched everything to do with 30 Rock...what am I to do but think of ways these two would be already perfect. It doesn't matter what they do. They're amazing in these interviews.
I feel like it's hard to do impressions of people who talk "normally". I find that people who say words differently or just have a very different pitched voice from the average person is the easiest to do an impression of. It's hard to do an impression of someone who sounds similar to you. When you can exaggerate and say things differently than what you're used to, the better the impression. Tina did a great "Dude, myself included" impression of Amy. It sounded so similar! (This is just an opinion)
Tina Fey recounting how was was like “ugghoof” after she kept feeling pushing at the foot of the bed was too accurate, you know it’s a true story. How she didn’t want to do anything out of comfort but it got to far so she’s like uuhhh ok fine
These 2 are great in situations like this, but together in a movie doesn't work out as well for some reason (e.g. Sisters, Baby Mama) maybe they should co-write the next movie
OMG....I used to often feel pressure at the end of my bed or beside me on the bed, like someone has gotten into bed with me, but whenever I turn to check if someone is there, there's no one there and I live alone. I haven't had an incident in a long time, but it used to happen a lot and I would tell people and they didn't believe me. They try to use logic to explain it, but how can you explain my mattress dipping on it's own when I'm lying still and no one else lives in my apartment?
