Thanks for the heads-up! Before watching your video, I went to the movies and had to decide between this and Polite Society. I wondered if I made the right choice, but having seen your review I think I did. Polite Society was okay. Enjoyable.
Yikes, how do you fuck up such a fun and easy premise that bad? The trailers seemed fun that's weird they shied away from the basic entertainment value they could've provided throughout
@@sullivan-pughvideoproducti5531 or he just didn’t enjoy the movie, no skin off your balls I don’t know why you think everyone on the internet needs to have the same opinion as you
This video was so cathartic for me. I just saw this movie and I was utterly disappointed but everyone else seems to love it (which, for the record is fine) so knowing that there was someone else who had almost all the same problems that I had with it is refreshing
Damn I'm gonna have to wait for this one to hit a streaming service . I saw part of the trailer and stopped the moment the guy puts the knife through the guys temple . I feel like they were going to show all the good parts in the trailer and hearing this video review sounds like i made the right choice lol trailers just ruin too much of the movie now these days ...
There are plenty of great moments that aren't in the trailer, it's just that the number of great moments could have probably fit in the trailer if they had wanted to, not as many as I wanted.
Absolute genius entertainment is this film. Just saw it. Some of the most fun I’ve had watching a film in a theater while. This is Rambo+ Inglorious Bastards+ John Wick wrapped up in what feels like a spaghetti western. It’s supposed to be a movie where you see bad guys getting their just dues. Don’t listen to this reviewer. Hell, the cinematography alone is worth the price of admission. An instant cult classic. Loved it for exactly what it was supposed to be!
I would never tell people not to listen to you over a difference of opinion. Of course people should make up their own minds and see what they want, but I encourage listening to different perspectives. Glad you had fun, I wanted more.
@@BoxOfChocolatezi think first point you made was already wrong so didn't really bother to listen more. This movie was comic book movie right from the start and had nothing to do with real life. Difference of opinion is lazy counter point.
@@theSammyM333 The first point I made was that there wasn't enough action to compensate for an uninteresting story and character. I didn't say a single thing about "real life". So maybe try actually listening, and then we can discuss what is most certainly a difference of opinion.
How disappointing. I just saw John Wick 4 today, late I know, and saw the trailer for this. The whole Finnish angle I thought was going to really change things up. Oh well... Such is life.
As if John Wick 4 is believable? C’mon. Give Sisu some credit. John Wick has had 4 movies to develop its back story and, look….I like Keanu Reeves for the type of roles he plays but his acting can be downright awful as they play up the monotone delivery of his lines. Sisu felt fresh. Wick? In the oven too long.
@@sullivan-pughvideoproducti5531 I never said a single thing about believability. And John Wick throughout all 4 movies has some of the best action choreography, stuntwork and camerawork ever. Sisu just does not. It's great that you liked it but I have legitimate reasons why I didn't.
@@BoxOfChocolatez You cannot compare a movie franchise like Wick to a foreign made film that had a $6 million budget. That said, Wick takes place in current time with all sorts of technology at his disposal. This is bare bones dirt and grit. I know you are a young guy and expect insane CGI in all your flicks but every movie doesn’t have to be loaded with it. You should go back and watch Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns, Rambo or Commando to have an appreciation for the vibe they were going for here.
@@sullivan-pughvideoproducti5531 I'm gonna need you to not make assumptions about me and actually argue in good faith please. I don't need CGI. I don't need it to be as good as John Wick. I love Commando, I love First Blood, please stay on topic and understand the simple fact that I did not enjoy a movie that you enjoyed and that is perfectly ok. Happens every day.
"This guy" must just have his own opinion. I stated my legitimate reasons for disliking the movie, I don't see how that tells you what other movies I've seen.
