Thanks for the video. There is one issue. How do you prevent the curbs and the pond from forming a TIN surface amongst each other? When I try this, the two curb islands and the pond triangulate and form a flatter surface than the drainage surface, so after pasting the surfaces the drainage surface information is lost. If someone has a solution, please speak up.
It appeared FG was a different area than subgrade. If using this to determine the total cut fill, wouldn't FG and Subgrade need to be identical in the area they represent? For example, FG looked like it was graded down around the perimeter which could have been fill. The subgrade did not. I like the method but am not clear on how to use it to get a total cut fill without making Subgrade and FG represent the same areas.
