#starwars #swtor #sith Episode 10 Turning Jedi against each other is our speciality Star Wars The Old Republic - Sith Warrior Sith Marauder - Annihilation Discipline Tatooine Discord - / discord
The blue screen of almost all jedi you meet is so awesome it's like Jedi: Sith you are evil I will stop you fight me. Sith: Nah, how about a cup of tea? Jedi: *error 404 pathway doesn't exisit* Sith: Yeah I was afraid this would happen *sighs*
Idk how some of the options are considered peaceful tho I feel so evil playing with the Jedi’s emotions and morals it’s so much fun I feel like that’s exactly what a evil sith with would do, just like the Jedi master said twist the truth and manipulate weakness
Love can make you feel Fear, or Anger a d Hate, Sadness And we know Fear leads to Anger, Anger leads to Hate, and Hate leads to the Dark Side Anakin loved his Mother, and Loved his Wife, Both made him be afraid ti lose them, and that fear took him to the Dark Side Road
@@Kravenrogue anakin went to the dark side because he was never taught how to actually handle and control his emotions. If the Jedi taught you to control them instead of surpress them he would’ve never turned.
Paralyzed, not unconscious. It's more obvious if you bring Quinn because he talks about how awful he feels just being an onlooker in the fight and not being able to move
that's because he was operating under the belief that the players sith was the same as the rest. By the end of the encounter, the players sith hadn't done anything Yonlach had expected, so he says he struggles to understand him. The players sith acts completely different, so the dude has no idea what he's gonna do.
I love when the Sith act more as diplomatic enemies, of the likes of Grand Admiral Thrawn, instead of pure monsters. I still like the classic all out consumed by darkness style, but this is even better for me. Makes things more interesting and grey.
That’s why personally light side with inquisitor is my favorite path. It’s all about using politics, guile and diplomacy to actually build up the empire and the sith while undermining their enemies unlike most sith who hulk smash
My inquisitor is definitely evil, but he’s still loyal to the empire and does what he thinks is best for it in the long term (mainly because he’d like it to be as strong as possible when he finally slaughters the last of his rivals and takes control of the galaxy)
@@steelrexer1062 See and thats the right mentality to have as a sith imo. Why scheme and connive for years to take control of a pile of ashes? Strengthen the empire you plan to rule so it can serve you better when you rule it.
@@Ryanfinder226 Yeah, I also find it way more interesting to try and build up his power base as much as possible. For example, I like to think he has the Nekghoul as his personal force of shock troops, or a small army of HK-51 units recovered and repaired from the crash as his assassins (Because lets be honest, only one HK-51 unit is a pitiable prize compared to a literal army of them)
If you spare Master Yonlach and his apprentice, you get a letter later on from him about how he met with Sharack Breev, your guide serving Baras on Tatooine, and how they ended up really bonding over your unexpected honor and courage and questioning their own values. I always appreciated it as the beginning of the Light Side Sith Warrior ushering in friendship and trust between Imps and Pubs.
I started my sith warrior somewhat of your average sith beast killing whatever stood in his way, but both him and my inquistor slowly become more true neutral characters, taking inspiration from Revan, not evil for evil's sake, but capable of evil to uphold what they believe to be right.
@@upsidedownpyramid7617 My Inquisitor quickly went full DS, but upon meeting Ashara, he started leaning slightly more towards the Light whenever she was around (and yes, he romanced her), so my head-canon is that they're each other's "anchor" that keeps each other sane(ish). And if anything can pull my Inquisitor fully back to the Light Side, it would be Ashara, but at the same time there will always be the risk that their love for each other will instead result in Ashara falling completely to the Dark Side (in much the same way that a DS Jaesa does). My SW though is full-blown and unrepentant DS, and he also turned Jaesa to the Dark Side as well. My only Empire character who is full LS is my Bounty Hunter.
That shrug at 1:06 Sith: I only seek to talk to her Jedi: I will not fall for your manipulations either Sith: Well shit, man... I dont fucking know what to say to you then... like.. Its true...
It’s honestly kind of scummy how Yonlach wiped Yu-li’s mind to prevent you from finding Jaesa. He talks so much about how you’re trying to manipulate everyone, then immediately does the same thing when threatened. He’s not deserving of the rank of Master, IMO.
I do like that option where your character mentions that it’s a shame about Yu-li - it’s sort of a backhanded jab at Yonlach’s hypocrisy and really calls his own beliefs into question.
@@AlucardsBlood69 There ARE still good Jedi around, but I WILL agree that there's many among their number who really need to take refresher courses on what Jedi are supposed to be.
Not gonna lie, i haven't dealt with naywhere near all starwars media, but in all i jave interacted with the majority of high ranking jedi are scum. 2/3s of jedi masters are straight up assholes, as far as i can tell.
*Sith:* "Hello there, would you like any of these Girl Scout cookies? The proceeds go to helping impoverished childre-" *Jedi:* "HOW DARE YOU TAKE CHILDREN HOSTAGE!" *Sith:* "Wait, wha-" *Jedi:* "WHERE ARE YOU HIDING THEM, SITH?! WE WILL SAVE THEM FROM YOUR EVIL!" *Sith:* "But, I didn't-"* *Jedi:* "MORE SITH LIES!"* *Sith:* "....But I'm just trying to help some children sell cookies...." *Vette:* "Hey, at least you tried. Still kinda surprised the Jedi turned out to be even more crazy than you Sith though." :P
LS sith kinda makes no sense storywise though. You do everything Darth Baras wants while saying you don't. LS sith on Tatooine would completely achieve nothing if the plot didnt demand the stupid Jedi to say her name - the master should either silence him before he says it or never.
"Jedi, we've been here arguing in the deli for over 30 minutes, I just want to buy some chicken and go home. I am not the Sith that killed your apprentice. Please leave me alone. "
Jedi: The last 9 times, Sith have said that before trying to kill us. Forgive me if I doubt the sincerity of such words the 10th time i have heard them.
Jedi: "I do not understand you Sith. You Lie, Twist the Truth, Murder, and Manipulate. Only Hate guides your kind." Sith: "Says the man stuck behind his own prejudice and hatred. The one who wiped the mind of his own Padawan and Incapacitated my Closest Companion to make it an Uneven and Unfair Fight. Peace is a Lie if you're the folks trying to usher it in."
i recently did this fight thinking this will be easy. i was immediately force pushed out off the room, my only thought at was was "well that was rather rude"
@@JacenSolo0 The more Jedi that live, the more Jedi that can oppose you. The Dark Side is partaking of the Force in an unnatural, humanistic way that goes contrary to how the Force is supposed to be used. The Dark Side is like a cancer in the Force, and this is reflected in those who use it. Dead, pale skin, loss of hair, yellow/red eyes-these are meant to represent the immense cancerous energy that flows through a dark side user. The Sith use the dark side because they believe that personal power and absolute freedom are worth any consequence. The means will justify the ends-at least in terms of what the dark side does to one's self. Conventional morals, compassion, etc are weaknesses that hold one back. Now, the Sith are wielders of this chaotic and terribly corrupting dark side. The Jedi are sworn to destroy wielders of the dark side by the Force itself to maintain harmony and balance. As long as a single Jedi exists the Sith are in constant danger. Sparing them for absolutely no reason makes no sense. Unless you plan to capture or detain a Jedi to either turn them to the dark side or get information out of them, a true Sith will kill them.
The last dark side option would have been really funny to do, saying "Just kidding!" and killing the Jedi Master (who like all the Jedi you encounter, acts like such an overconfident snob). Also, how does Vette approve of your actions if she's unconscious lol
I adore this. Because it isn’t that he is some Jedi in disguise. He is literally just professional, reasonable, and merciful. But he is still undeniably a sith and I love that.
@@skell6134 It was funny that I didn’t see the episode of Rick and Morty with Wasp Rick but I feel like it is the same energy. “Look, I may crave and seek strength above all things and fully embrace my own growth and emotions at the expense of others… but even I am capable of compassion.”
@@blackchibisan8116 Basically yes,you dont have to be a**hole to be power hungry And it also can be other way around in Jedi case, lol(they might no be power hungry, but they definitely can be a**holes)
@@skell6134 And you have JUST nailed the point I was going for when I did a Kotor run trying to come up with a reason Kriea said Revan may not have fallen at all. And I realized maybe Revan was just a total asshole with a good moral compass. Constantly complaining, chastising, laughing at people getting hurt, quick to kill things they think are evil, but ultimately has a good moral compass and stands with the republic. But Kotor was not ready for my subtle ways. Literally, I said, “Screw you, sith Bastila. I’m going to kill you and then your master as Revan and save the republic.” And the two Jedi said, “No, that’s the dark side!” And then I got to the light side of the force.
I fucking love this. You have basically broken a Jedi Master into doubting his feelings. Sowing the seeds of darkness in even the strongest masters of the Jedi Order.
It's not seeds of darkness, it's seeds of rationality and logical thinking. Light side sith in KOTOR isn't your typical retarded moustache twirling villain from the movies - he's a normal man fighting for his nation
It's funny, I just did this scene earlier tonight. I had a little more trouble than you did with them... Curse Yonlach for knocking out my healer. Of course, my warrior is not as nice, seeing as how she's based on Asajii Ventress. She's a pure Dark Side rage machine. Watching Xi'thari makes me want to make another though and go the Light Side route. It's so funny watching everyone freak out at the most mild, peaceable Sith there ever was. If only people would stop throwing themselves on his lightsaber.
@@grimsgraveyard3598 she fall in love with Quinlan Vos, after he seemingly die when both of the tried to assassinate Court Dooku she became a bounty hunter before Ashoka being framed
It was interesting when I play my Sorc shes all darkside until she gets what she wants then when she commands the galaxy via the alliance she is more reasonable. In the end I like it that way. I do what is necessary to achieve my goals. Betray me or stand against me and you will fall. Do not and I have no quarrel with you. Those under my care will be taken care of.
"I'm at a loss to understand you, sith!" In LS Sith's mind: "That's because you're a brainwashed childsoldier who involved into one of the dogmatic leaders of your cult. I don't hold your limited mental capabilities against you though" LS Sith: *shrugs*
Sith warrior story is awesome. Great DS choices, great LS choices. My last playthrough I've done a dark side but with quite a lot of light side choices, like sparing parents, not randomly murdering people like a psycho etc. Light side warrior is cold and methodical in exposing Jedi lies, love it.
She is not uncoscious, she is paralyzed. Not only does she mention it in the conversation, but also in this very same video. But by the amount of comments like yours i'm let to believe the average swtor fan either has no attention span, is deaf, or just a complete idiot.
That's the best part, the Sith does not seek Redemption. They don't need it. They are the Pure Ideal of the Sith: One that obtains mastery over the world through acceptance of all that they are... but which does not descended into being a rabid beast in pursuit of power.
i could never beat these two in this fight, and so to this day, there they remain on Tatooine, while everything else in the galaxy moves past them, forever locked in time,
This poor Sith, just wandering the galaxy trying to conduct business in a polite and professional manner and all these people just like "I see through your ruse of peacefulness and not attacking me! I demand you attack me!"
I don't know, that Jedi Master most definitely DOMINATED everyone mentally. Was surprised by the temperance of the Sith, but he had everything under complete control except for the combat.
I love how interactions like this show the hypocrisy and self righteousness of the jedi. The "keeper of peace" here refuses to talk or negotiate, attacks unprovoked, mind wipes his student and tries to kill a man who was attempting diplomacy Then he doesn't even apologize when the guy he tried to murder restates his peaceful intentions, as if "you are a sith" justified all his actions. Not to mention how creepy the whole bond thing sounds...
Sith: Okay dude I just want to talk Jedi: NAY! Sith: But I don't want to kill you I sware! Jedi:THIS IS NOT HOW THE WORLD IS WORKING! (Draw his sword and attack)
I'm having a lot of trouble with this fight. More specifically, I don't have the ability to force choke since I chose Assassin. Anyone know how to get past this?
