I literally found your channel a few days ago and have been hooked. One of my many dream builds is a Golf based UTE. I’d really like to find a cheap wrecked R32, but an AWD TDI would be cool too.

Don't beat yourself up over getting the process in the wrong order, or having to go back and redo things, you have stated yourself plenty of times you are learning as you go, and certainly have come a long way from where you started with this project.

Nice to see you a bit less stressed out and seeing some progress. Can’t wait to see some more progress in the next one!

hi lewis if you are having trouble getting the outer quarter panel lined up with the door then you may need to move the inner quarter panel forward . If you have lined up the outer panel without the inner being in double check as once you have welded the inner you will have trouble pulling the outer forward 5mm don't just assume lining the edges up is correct measure and measure again better now than later but apart from that starting to look real good look online as there will be measuring points where you can spot on measurements for the panels cheers glenn

If you're planning on doing a lid for the bed, make sure it's a hard top lid for safety and because the material and soft tops are easy to get into. If you don't plan on doing a lid ignore this message

Great job as always. Just one point to think about before welding in the inner bed arches: how will you get access to the upper bolts of the rear shocks in case you meet to replace them? Greetings from Germany, Patrick

You’ve probably mentioned it before, but how are you going to change the rear shocks when they wear out?

Still kinda confused how you’re gonna access the top of the struts for removal in the future?

How are you going to do the rear window ?
