I had to go to the hospital once in Latvia, and I was really scared, because I thought they will be very judgemental about my tattoos, but it turned out to be very different! The nurses daughter was training to be a tattoo artist, and the doctor just had gotten tattoo himself and showed it to us, and they asked if they can see mine too, so we ended up showing each other our tattoos, talking about them and laughing the whole time! Best experience ever 😂 didn’t expect that at all!

Whaat? Really? You got lucky hhaha! Five times out of six I get the nurses or doctors that hate the tattoos. And they usually are old people so I am not surprised. But I have noticed that the young nurses are usually hyped about the tattoos.
I have a seahorse on my forearm. A little kid saw it, and started asking her mom, that he wanted her to draw one in his arm when they got home. Her mom looked at me all pissed... :-)

Weird. Why some parents hate when a kid gets excited that others have tattoos... well okay, it is probably their opinion on tattoos, and that is why they don't like that their little kid gets hyped about it, but they should not hate on you or other tattooed people because of it. Right? Have been in the same situation as you though.
Jobs can't tell you they won't hire you because your tattoos it's discrimination. I worked at one nursing home that were not hiring people with tattoos anymore, but when I applied and went to the interview I wore long sleeves. They hire me, but wore shock to see how i look in my scrubs. At that point they couldn't fire me plus they had other employees who had sleeves too plus you were allowed to wear them, but they were shock because they don't hire people with tattoos anymore. BUT hell I got in LOL. I worked in many many other nursing homes that don't mind tattoos since so many people have them. However, they mind piercings i have to mostly put my septum up.
When I worked in a flower shop 6-7 years ago I had my left sleeve done, a small tattoo on my right forearm and a small one on my chest. A mother and her young son, probably around 7-8 years old came to the shop, and the son was so amazed with my tattoos (I wore a tank top). He said to his mom "look look, so cooool" and asked her if he could stay by the desk while she shopped, and she smiled and said yes (this was a really small shop, so she were never far away). When she came back she told me that the boy's father had a lot of tattoos and that he was her son's hero. That was a great experience. :)

Pines awww this restored some faith ✨🤍 so sweet! Thank you for sharing this lovely story!
debunking the stereotypes/stigma around "heavily tattoed" females, how to find your perfect artist, house tour, "meet my tattoo artist" would be cool if any of your artists are up for being filmed! Vlogs are always nice too :)

OH! Yes, that is a very good idea! I will definitely make a video in that, so stay tuned! And thank you for the ideas! xoxo
about the job thing, in my country it is against the law to deny someone a job because of tattoos if they're fit for the part...it falls under discrimination.
i had an experience at the hospital with a lady that was doing an exam and me and spent the whole time trying to convince to not get any more tattoos

Sad. Because someone doesn't like tattoos, doesn't mean they should tell you or others what to do. Sometimes I don't care what strangers say, but rarely it does hurt my feelings. :D
I would love to know more about your art😍 im an artist too and youre such an inspiration! What is your style of drawing, maybe a journey of your life as an artist😊 much love from Sweden!
I like this story time video style! You should do more story times of just specific times that interesting things happened and you or things that you did and want to share.

Happy to hear that :) I will have to think of a good story time video, haha, my life is not that interesting, but I bet I do have some funny stories. Just have to remember and write them down.
Speaking from a job standpoint, people in tech are super accepting. I work as a software engineer and have seen people with neck or hand jobs (the point is, very visible tattoos). They only care about the code you produce rather than how you look :) Edit: The fact that someone is allowed to make a decision (in some industries) based off of superficial reasons rather than your skill is absolutely absurd. Inked skin in no way affects your skill. It only shows your interests, and the fact that people are allowed to make decisions based off of that should be viewed the same as not hiring you for your political views. Both are not okay and just downright stupid
The thing with needles happens to me all the time, it's not about tattoos, but about vein visibility. Nurses just aren't able to take my blood easily. It happened to me when I was like 15 an not tattooed (obviously) and it's happening each time.
I used to suffer from migraines for years! I changed some things about my life as in junk food. I stopped eating that and processed foods, I’ve cut it down a lot! I also limited animal products. I included juicing, fruits, and veggies. I also try to walk, rebound, or do some spinning sometimes.
I'd love to get to know more about you. Chit chat videos, vlogs, Get Ready With Me chats, Story times, tags. I second every one's suggestions so far too. 😊 I'm so terrified (exaggeration, maybe) of having to give blood with my full sleeves! My right arm is done and I should be done with my left one this year. You definitely won't be able to see the greenish tinge of my veins but fuck it! The doctors, technicians, nurses should know to use a tourniquet so that the veins bulge, making blood draw easier. 😱😳 I once had a couple stop me in a parking lot and talk to me about god for 20 mins. Pretty sure the only reason they stopped me was because of my tattoos. They weren't rude, just pushy. Really frustrating!

galisatsuki Thank you! :) Yeah, well so, the nurses know how to deal with it. And the hand that they usually draw blood from has tattoos on it but they are light gray in that specific spot so it is not that bad. Hahah, and that has happened to me too! Couple of times. And one time it was summer and two girls wouldnt leave me alone and where even pushing it too far, that I pulled up my shirt, where the devil like lady tattoo is, and scared them off, saying that Satan has my back. 😁
Here's some video ideas: highlight great tattoo artists and their styles, explain and highlight different tattoo styles, have friends on that have tattoos - and explain their tattoos. Love your videos.

i_love_rescue_animals Thank youu! Will keep in mind ☺️
Also no one suppose to poke you more than 3 times with a needle at that point they have to get someone else. At least here in America your suppose to only have a nurse/dr/ w/e poke you three times to draw your blood if not they have to get someone else. Make sure if someone does that again request for another person.
XDDD You are incredibly lovely XD. Maybe you should have avoided to cover that critical places were they give you a shot... I'll give you another video idea: make a city tour, or a tatoo shop tour around your city... I'd like to know a bit more of it. Greetings from Barcelona, Spain!

Yea well, I did not think of that, and it is not like I am getting shots or my blood taken every single day. And not always it is a struggle. Sometimes it just depends on if the nurse has been in the business for years or has just started. I will keep that in mind and thank you so much! :)
yeah its true we "chose the lifestyle of being a tattood person" but doesnt give people the right to be assholes, people are so mentally incompetent sometimes and dont understand its the same as walking up to a fat person and going "why are u fat? u chose the life of being fat"
