dont know if anyone cares but if you are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new series on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my gf for the last days xD
There's many bands that make the gargling sound. That's not a jab at any metal, I love metal, but these guys must be an example of the absolute minimal a record label would take. I can get past the vocals thing as many successful bands like Caninle Corpse and Debauchery make the same noise, but there very little musical characteristics the guitar work.
Real Metal like this is the most real music on earth, its not pointless pop and has deep meaning but most people are too ignorant to understand it for what it is.
I am a lifelong doors fan.. and i cant watch this video without being in aesthetical heaven here. Morrison also had this murder aura going in the late days. This is one of the best metal videos to me with sentenced to burn and strangled. This is how death metal is supposed to look
I dig it,remember being turned into these guys around Bringer of Blood time.so I was 13 & instantly I had went out & got the first 4 SFU albums.only th3n did I realize the vocalist had been the 1 to do vox on my favorite Cannibal album- Tomb of the Mutilated. awesome album I was glad some songs had the slower, groove.
I think people have "faith" in things because they truly don't understand their purpose and are scared. They look for something to believe in so they feel like they have a purpose and they don't need to be scared. Truth is, they simply condition themselves with lies until the point that, to them, it becomes a reality.
True that I was ignorant and pretty much stupid in addressing your comment. My main point though is that "core" music, though being mentioned in the past, is just a new way of trying to make metal, just metal, more than it is. I know that the same can be said about Death, Black, and all the other types of metal that I mentioned plus those I failed to mention due to a lack of enlightenment, yet "core" seems much more illegitimate. I wish not to offend though I did but core is just metal thats all
Venyl is always greater than Cd, it just has more style and the sound is more intensive (especially when you're stoned^^). The last time I saw them they played "Revenge of the zombie" and "Suffering in Ecstasy" - damned, it was a fucking dream to hear that old ones. And as long as they don't kick "Feasting", "Victim of the Paranoid" or "Hacked to pieces from their live show, I'm happy.
i'll never understand the people who comes here and says awful things about the type of vocal.you can hate it, i totally understand but why bother? whatever, i think it's ok to say what you think.however,i always thought the best type of vocal which matches with lyrics of all sfu songs is what barnes already does. i wish i had met with them sooner. awesome band man, awesome band...
best part of this band is they dont start putting out shit make a movie where they discuss theyr feelings and show off theyr big million dallar estate. six feet under is the best band ever a place that metallica held in my heart untill those reload albems they new shit great but six feet under has never let me down and every song of theyrs f'en rocks
none of you appreciate death metal at all. how dare you dis chris barnes. hes old and his age has taken a toll on his voice. so yeah for being 40 something he still is great.
Doomsday Doomsday Doomsday Death is now on its way Waiting to entertain Sucks off the human waste You won't have died in vain Andre's respecting you Sickness within us grows Seth is now on his way Waiting to entertain
skeet, give chris a chance, if u were screamin and growling for some decades u wud understand what his problem is so, let him take his lasts screams before he becomes voiceless!!!!!!
I have no problem with discussion as long nobody gets insulted without a reason. Yeah, Sfu really kicks ass, although none of their albus since 2003 could reach such a high level as "Bringer" or "Maximum". So don't listen to all the dumbasses who think it's not "true" Death Metal because they've no blasts or something like that. "Death Rituals" is an intersting album, much better than Commandment (the first Sfu album which wasn't worth the money, in my opinion).
I am a huge fan of Barnes since late Cannibal Corpse and SFU first album. His down-to-the-core brutal growling has been an enormous inspiration ever since, showing a vast majority of other death metal vocalist (those trying to unsuccesfully copy his style and those who never got even close) their place in a row. Remarkably, despite experiments on Warpath and Bringer of Blood, Barnes throughout time managed to even further brutalize his growling making it sound extremely unique and real. RESPECT!
damn this is some heavy shit they would put slayer to shame in my opinion slayer is too soft I use to be into slayer till I Heard this band now I am into six feet under they are awesome 👍
Six Feet Under is the beast and Chris Barnes is the best death metal vocalist out there. Period. Comparing his brutal as fuck growl to the likes of Corpsegrinder and others is laughable. Everyone who ever tried growling professionally knows what I mean. Growling you guts out and simply screaming-because-you're-not-good-enough is not the same thing. Sorry. I loved his vocals back in the day when he was in CC but I've been huge fan of SFU since 1995. I've got all their CD's and got to see them a couple of times live. They sound amazing live and listening to Barnes doing live vocals is unforgettable! This guy's forty-some these days and still rules. His growl is like wine, the older it gets, the better!
