Just rode Superman today. It rides fine in my opinion. I didn’t think it was rough. Honestly if any coaster is rough or rattly, it’s Goliath. They need a new front of the park coaster.
I'm amazed on how much this park has surpassed its sister park of texas in SFOT..I read alot of comments all over RU-vid about how much so many people think this is a better park..And it's crazy because SFOT is way older but Fiesta Tx is also in my opinion a better park..Still though SFOT holds a place in my heart..I have plenty of childhood memories there..
Six Flags Fiesta Texas already has 13 coasters because you have to count their kid flash coasters. It's two of them not one. And also according to Jeffrey siebert they will most likely not add a wooden coaster as it is too much maintenance. But i will say this. There's a big possibility that they might actually get a hyper coaster finally. But don't count on it for at least another 3 or 4 years.
I feel like Fiesta Texas should really try to build a hyper for their next coaster. The fact that there isn't really any modern hypercoasters in Texas is somewhat bizarre if you ask me.
@@mitochondriaandfriends4883 I thought skyscreamer at Fiesta Texas was 200ft tall? If that’s the case they can always build a hypercoaster that is only 200ft tall and not go higher than that.
@@quentenmajoor5861they do have a height limit but idk what it is. I really want to see a hyper. They could build a 200ft hyper with a 200ft+ drop if they add a tunnel
As much as I love the idea for a wooden coaster, I can't see that happening as you suggested a twisted wooden coaster from GCI, and SeaWorld San Antonio already has one with Texas Stingray. In order to stay ahead of the competition, they'll want to build something that's completely different from what they or their competitors already have.
A wooden coaster is absolutely what Fiesta Texas needs most. I'd love for them to use the quarry wall for the first drop because they could put the lift hill right along the wall and then add a turnaround up there to take in the view and then have a bit of momentum going into the drop. It would save on lumber for the turnaround by putting it up there. And a rare GCI straight drop off the quarry wall with a bit of momentum from the turnaround would be amazing. My next pick would be an indoor coaster. Not a Dark Knight wild mouse in a box but a more serious indoor coaster. Something akin to Space Mountain but with a DC theme (or an original theme.) Or do a larger version of Fire in the Hole/Blazing Fury with an old Texas theme. If any park could pull that off well it's Fiesta Texas.
Unfortunately, SFFT can't build anything taller than 200 feet due to the nearby Air Force bases, as they train pilots out there frequently. That being said, I find the idea of a Vekoma hypercoaster that's, say, 190 feet tall, with a 25 foot tunnel very appealing XD
Hello so six flags fiesta Texas is my home park and that height restriction isn’t a thing according to the famous park president Jeffery. So maybe something taller might come to the park. It’s just up to me Jeffery and his team to do it. And as far as a wood coaster, it’s mixed signal but I could also see a hyper coaster to. Both are needed
While I love the way a GCI would complement Fiesta Texas' ride line-up, I wonder about the marketability of that style ride. SeaWorld San Antonio has the awesome Texas Stingray right next door, so I would think Fiesta would want to add something different. I wouldn't think building a bigger version of the same ride would bring in the masses. A hyper would definitely be a great fit, even if it's a not-quite-hyper like Steel Eel. A large ride focused on floater airtime would be my choice.
A Gravity Group would compete well with Texas Stingray. Assuming Bobcat is a massive success for Great Escape, Six Flags will want to add them anywhere they can. And it'd probably be better for the compact Boardwalk area, anyway. While a Vekoma hyper would be awesome, it'd need to be squeezed behind Hurricane Harbor, and its entrance plaza would be near Dr. Diabolical's. So Fiesta Texas probably won't add anything big there for a while, and the Boardwalk needs a new coaster sooner to earn that massive dead-end.
An Ultra Surf wouldn't be ideal as Intamin's building Catapult Falls for SWSA. (If another Six Flags park gets one, I'd bet on Mexico.) And with Poltergeist refurbished, they probably don't feel the need for another launched coaster. Hope they add a Gravity Group to the Boardwalk with a more twisted layout than Texas Stingway. If they have to remove Pandemonium for it, hopefully they can squeeze it into Frontier City. They need another family coaster if they want Herschend to take it off their hands.
Honestly they should give pandemonium to another park and then go hyper or even a new age blitz by either intamin or vekoma.Boardwalk section is definitely a great spot
If Fiesta Texas were going to add a hyper, I'd expect them to squeeze it behind Hurricane Harbor and along the parking lot, with its entrance plaza across the train tracks from Road Runner & Dr. Diabolical. They'd have to move the Whirlpool & Big Bender slides, so this probably won't be their next major coaster.
Knock down or move big spin and put a coaster over in that area near where jokers revenge used to be, brownie points if it’s incorporated into the wall.
Imo I don’t always agree with the fact that a lot of ppl say that “oh we need a gci woodie”. I really believe we need a hyper regardless of the height restriction we may have but I’ll take anything but a woodie , hate to say it but just my opinion.
Fiesta desperately needs a wooden coaster as it’s their biggest gap in their lineup. They should go for that first before going for a Vekoma hyper if they want
The Hyper will not happen ever due to the strict height restrictions that will forever be in affect. This park would have already had one if it wasn’t for that. I think the GCI wooden would be a welcome addition that can provide airtime. I also wouldn’t rule out a new generation Boomerang like Great Adventure being added. Personally I would like a custom airtime focused Vekoma that uses the wall.
Can you do one for SFGAM? I have heard a lot of people say a gigs would perfectly replace eagle and I 100% agree but I think it’s an interesting topic since sfgam is so overdue and is such a big park.
There is a spot missed, what about a GCI built in the middle of Superman and even up and down the quarry wall. 150' Lift up to the top of quarry, with an 80 foot drop, twisting section on top of the wall, then mid course 120 foot drop off the wall with the second half under Superman.... As for Hyper, who owns all that land "Above the quarry near the maint buildings ? Could build a Giga, that uses that area. Starts in the boardwalk, with a huge lift up the quarry , a few huge drops and turns on top of the quarry in the open land, then drops to the quarry floor near the maint buildings to the far SE corner, then follows the wall at high speed back to the boardwalk .. Last an Ultra -Splash could fit where the old shoots ride was and use the carve out in the wall... ( next to WW)
Okay, I hope you’re not gonna mind me ranting here. Fiesta Texas looks great, right? Right. I’m not that kinda girl who’s gonna go to a park that’s outside of my comfort zone. I’m not used to that yet. Plus, you know me, I’m a music major in college. Like I said I’m not that girl who’s gonna go to a park outside of my comfort zone. I don’t think I’m ready. Sorry for the rant, had to put it out there. I agree with everything you said here. Is Fiesta Texas gonna get a coaster in 2024? Probably not!
Hello I just read your comment, so the great thing about six flags fiesta Texas is that we do have amazing shows also, currently right now we have some amazing Christmas shows in 4 of our 5 theaters fiesta Texas has. And then during Halloween last year we tons of shows to. And also we might get a new coaster at fiesta Texas by 25 or 25. Right now we are getting a big dc universe expansion right now for 2024.
